Murder, It’s a Democrat Thingby Selwyn DukeWith leftists seeking to blame the El Paso shooting on President Trump, guns, white people and whatever other boogieman will help score political points, a simple fact should be understood: Murder is a Democrat thing. We can start with the striking statistic that 68 percent of all homicides occur in just certain parts of 5 percent of America's counties — and all, or virtually all, of these are Democrat areas. Also striking is Democrats' devolution on prenatal infanticide. The line always was, though the savvy never believed it, "We want abortion to be safe, legal and rare." Leftists also insisted that "we don't really know when life begins" or when "an unviable tissue mass becomes a baby." To echo Barack Obama's debate disclaimer from some years ago, that's above their "pay grade." But all that has been aborted. Now leftists support prenatal infanticide up until birth, and sometimes beyond, though this is subject to change without notice. (Coming, perhaps, is the day leftists will absolutely know when an “unviable tissue mass” becomes human: when it can vote Democrat.) In other words, yes, he’s a baby; yes, he’s human. And, yes, you can murder him because you feel like it. How sociopathic can you get? This devolution is no surprise. Leftists are, almost one and all, de facto atheists; as such, they essentially believe man is just a material being, a chemicals-and-water organic robot. To quote barrel-of-laughs botanist Lawrence Trevanion, people are “objects that perceive.” Obviously, viewing people as objects leads to objectification; you use objects and, when the spirit moves you, maybe even abuse objects. This is why leftists such as sanctimonious Pete Buttigieg and Irish Bob (O’Rourke) will politicize tragedies such as the El Paso and Dayton shootings before the blood is even dry. To them, the victims are objects that serve a purpose, a means to an end. So they can be human props, just like the Illegal-alien Children in Cages™, or kids paraded in front of press conferences or on stage at Democratic National Conventions. “Do it for the children?” It’s really, “Do it with the children” or “Do it to the children” — whatever yields the power you crave. Of course, projecting, leftists are also full of the hate they ascribe to others. (After all, they’re incapable of hating what they see as the sin without hating who they see as the sinner, so they assume others operate likewise.) This is why former CNN host Reza Aslan, an Iranian immigrant who once ate human flesh on television, recently sent a tweet in which he appeared to say that all Trump supporters should be eradicated. If that was his meaning, he’d just be carrying on a long tradition. The “Left” has been bloody ever since it was born during the French Revolution, where Maximilien Robespierre’s crew killed thousands in the Reign of Terror. Since then, the USSR’s Stalin, China’s Mao, Cambodia’s Pol Pot and others have added approximately 100 million corpses to the total. The formula is simple, too: Leftists+Sufficient Power=Dropped Mask and Mass murder. Power really is the only limiting factor because godlessness, that leftist norm, correlates with moral nihilism, and thus are leftists bereft of true moral constraints. Fyodor Dostoevsky explained this state of being in The Brothers Karamazov, writing, “Without God, all things are permitted.” Leftists don’t have principles, but preferences — which is why they’re notorious for the political-winds-enabled goalpost shift. Worse still is how leftists (and the conservatives who defend yesterday’s liberals’ mistakes) destroy children, on the inside, with corruptive miseducation, entertainment and sexual-devolutionary messages and temptations. From bodies to hearts to minds to souls to statues and traditions and beyond, threatening all that’s great and good, destruction is leftists’ stock in trade. Leftists were once part of the counter-culture, but the only culture that’s truly theirs is the Culture of Death, that dark phenomenon Pope John Paul II so lamented. So you can point fingers, modern Democrats, but in your hearts some of you, I suspect, know exactly what too many of you are: stone-cold killers. Contact Selwyn Duke, follow him on Gab (preferably) or Twitter, or log on to SelwynDuke.com.

A guy named Frank Friday (that sounds made up) has an article at American Thinker that I thought was mostly sensible: The Real Cause of the Shooting. Artler gave his list of things not responsible for the shooting. He included “video games” which I think is still up in the air in regards to desensitizing males to violence. But I do think this Friday has hit upon a likely cause: 1) Dope The other reasons he mentions (lack of institutionalization for the mentally ill, media attention for the killers) might be upstream reasons, but they are too general to be meaningful in regards to any one shooting. And in terms of “upstream reasons,” one of the most volatile is feminism whereby males are routinely belittled, marginalized, and made to feel powerless and alienated. But for a more proximate reason, this strong pot yutes are using could play a big role in flipping people. I don’t know if it applies to this case, but it is worth looking at. And in the areas of “Great minds think alike,” I think Selwyn is spot-on when he writes: I said much the same thing yesterday. If innocent babies can regularly be killed, their lives rationalized away as meaningless, how more powerful is the justification for killing people if your end is to “save the planet”? Killing the unborn purports to have no such grand goal. It is merely a matter of convenience.

Note that Dostoyevsky knew about revolutionaries from personal experience, having started out as one. He was sentenced to death and was in fact on the scaffold when someone showed up at the last minute with a pardon. (The timing had been arranged -- I remember hearing this in high school, and I read about it later in one of my books on Russian history.)
After that he apparently turned more conservative. Perhaps he realized that his fellow revolutionaries might well have done the same thing to him -- but without the last-minute pardon. (Imagine being on the scaffold, hoping for a pardon. At the least minute, someone comes running in -- and announces the pardon has been denied, and to go ahead and pull the trap. I would wonder if that ever occurred to these leftists, but I suppose when you kill en masse it's more difficult to think of the condemned as individuals.)

I couldn't agree more. But it is not only the dope these losers are smoking. What about the dope their mothers are taking while the babies are developing. As I mentioned before, the El Paso shooter's father was a dope-head for forty years, i.e. when the shooter was conceived. Could this have an effect on the brain development of babies? I don't know, but it is pretty clear that smoking dope does not help one's long-term mental stability.
But woe to any politician who is foolish enough to bring this up.

A couple of posts to this article, The Real Cause of the Shootings, are pretty good: And… Dov Fischer has an article with some suggestions of what to do: Thoughts on Mass Shooting. His suggestion #2 is pretty good: Become Extreme Against Marijuana. A number of these issues produce heat in the cauldron: drugs, no father in the home, atheism/nihilism, violent video games, not institutionalizing the mentally ill and passing them of as “the homeless,” and you can probably think of a few others. But I’d say the main ingredient is drugs during pregnancy and drugs (by the yutes) after pregnancy. The media won’t look at the problem of single-motherhood and drugs because single-mothers have been turned into saints which is a far cry from the ethic of “keep your legs closed” which, while perhaps a little harsh, is better advice than glamorizing promiscuity and reckless behavior. But drugs are creating pre-bent people and our ugly culture furthers the bending. We even give these bent people reasons to commit crimes. They may be “saving the planet.” But all you’ll mostly hear are lies, including from the conservative press (if you can call National Review conservative). I didn’t read this article at RedState, but the headline is spot on: Sister Of El Paso Victims Pleads With ‘Pure Evil’ Democrats To Stop Shamefully Using Their Deaths To Assault The President. This is the state of things. If you vote for or otherwise support the Democrat Party in any way, you are now supporting pure evil.

American Thinker has an article titled Blowback and Mass Shootings. It mentions one thing that I thought noteworthy: No one here is surprised that these little Progressive babysitting utopias called “public schools” can be hell. I think one commenter was more plain about it: There are things that parents can do, not all of them easy: 1) Don’t do drugs and make sure your children don’t do so either. 2) Get your children out of the public schools. 3) Restrict their time on their phones and playing video games 4) Help them find something more worthwhile and productive to do than “social media.” The problem with this is that parents are no longer in charge of the children, even if they want to be. They are ruled by the media, public schools, and the entertainment conglomerate. And these themselves are ruled over by a social elite that is rotten. This author links to an article at First Things titled The Rot in Our Ruling Class: I wonder since many people (religious or otherwise) have lost a grip on what it takes to secure a moral child in this life that we should be concerned with lowering the threshold with such things as “inclusive” universal salvation and just further normalize giving everyone a pass. Vitamin N is in short supply these days. What we know here (and have known for years) is that “social media” is “anti-social media.” It is part of the rot. Rather than learning refinement, anti-social media amplifies whatever garbage falls out of one’s head. And I think we become addicted to triviality. There are few wise adults helping kids to refine themselves. Instead, that function is left to the dynamic of the mob. But god only knows what is going on in our public schools, and if finding out were to shine a poor light on both women and a government institution, hell will be freezing over long before a journalist (even a supposed conservative one) shines a light into those dark corners. These mass shootings are clearly the failing of the over-drugged, nihilistic, Progressive-bullying, therapeutic-oriented culture. Boys need the guidance of good men, not a gaggle of women who don’t know the first thing about what it is to be a man. This understanding is declared as unnecessary when manhood itself is cast off as “toxic masculinity.” We need more good men turning boys into men — not into metrosexuals or various made-up gender categories. Men, far more than women, need meaning in their lives by what they do and can achieve. Women don’t understand this. They don’t know what to do with boys but to either drug them up or to try to turn them into women. The nasty little secret about these shootings is that these are examples of some cast-off boys trying to find meaning in their lives.

The Texas shooter went to Plano Senior High School where I used to sub. This is a large high school with only 11th and 12th grades, which has almost 3,000 students. It is laid out like a small junior college.
Admittedly, I did not socialize much with the students, but I do not recall having seen much bullying. In the 11th and 12th grades, the kids have their own individual schedules and do not necessarily spend a lot of time with the same students in each class.
My biggest problem with the place was the general lack of discipline and absence of any real sanction which could be used to punish bad behavior.

I wasn’t going to come right and and blame you, Mr. Kung. But because you’ve outed yourself, well, there it is. Lord-of-the-Flies in public schools (especially pretending to be Progressive utopias) doesn’t help. But I think the reality is that a majority of Americans have turned over their moral life to the degenerates, malcontents, and outright Communists. They’ve done so for a variety of reasons (including babysitting, in the case of public schools). I think mostly they have done so (women) for economic/power gains (where public babysitting is not just useful but crucial) while men’s allegiance was purchased by promises of “free love.” The rest were bent to submission by the sheer success of our market economies were endless choices for distraction are available. Surrounded by such sheer magnitudes of choice, there seemed no reason that that one was required to say “no” to anything. If all this abundance was available via “science,” then the Old Ways of “thou shalt nots” became irrelevant and a decided party-pooper in this age of “I can have it all.” This is all in the context of some pretty powerful and focused anti-Western, anti-white, anti-male propaganda. The men who should have stood up to this had already sold off their moral authority in return for other things. This is one ride that is just going to have to play itself out. The Left (and the vast majority of Americans who have swallowed whole the Progressive agenda) cannot admit defeat on core issues regarding its ideology. So it must blame guns, Donald Trump, white supremacists, etc. More or less, the entire situation has just been summarized in four paragraphs. But you’ll likely get very little of this, even from the conservative press, although there are sill a few bright lights here and there such as Ann Coulter’s article on the real and present psychotic dangers of pot.

If anything, I should probably have been concerned that some student was going to shoot me. I would throw students out of class occasionally.
One time when I did this, another student threatened me. He saw I wasn't impressed and backed down. This happened at Williams High School which has 9th and 10th grades. It was the worst school that I subbed in and I finally refused any jobs there.

It is amazing that one doesn't hear of the Dayton shooter's Satanic-leftist leanings and dope-head yearnings. I wonder why? Dayton ShooterAnd these things are not in question unlike the supposed screed from the El Paso shooter. I am waiting to see what further info will come out on these two nuts.

There's an interesting and related item that has come up. Sometime next month, a movie called The Hunt is to premiere. It involves wealthy, influential people who occasionally vacation at a very private manor where they hunt down ordinary Americans for sport. Naturally, in Hollyweird, one would expect this to be wealthy Trump supporters (never mind how few there may be relatively) hunting Demagogues (which would probably be minorities). But no, this turns out to be the opposite: wealthy leftists targeting conservatives for political reasons. Even stranger, it seems that some of the targets turn the tables and start hunting (and killing) the hunters. Naturally, this is led by a woman -- even among deplorables, the needs of political correctness apply. Some would argue (in fact, many bloggers have) that this is what one would expect. Which group would be more familiar with guns and other weapons, after all? The idea, of course, is an old one, going back at least to Richard Connell's famous and popular "The Most Dangerous Game" about a mad Russian who has his own tiny island where he hunts people for sport. (They are given the choice: accept being hunted -- if they survive 3 days, which so far no one ever has, they'll be let go -- or be worked over by the hunter's aide, once the Tsar's personal knouter. They always accept the hunt.) He's a monster who comes to a bad end, but other monsters have found him appealing (such as Zodiac, who cited the book in a coded letter). It's shown up in the movies, on radio, and on TV on many occasions and in many forms (including an episode of Gilligan's Island, of all things).
What makes this interesting is that the recent events -- 3 mass shootings within the past 2 weeks -- have made this a bit embarrassing. They don't plan to delay the movie, though they may well make changes. (Guy Benson suggested having one of the hunters put up a list of possible targets, a reference to the aptly-surnamed Joaquin Castro's recent fascist attack on his own constituents -- including several contributors to his and his brother's campaign, who are MOST unhappy.)
Meanwhile, we have a perfect story -- leftists elites hunting conservative Americans for sport and (fascist) politics. How did this get made in Hollyweird? Are the creators being punished for their temerity?

The popular press is finally pointing out that drug use i.e. marijuana use, is possibly a large factor among many mass shooters.
What I find more alarming is the number of yutes that this article claims are smoking pot on a daily basis. This is a very bad thing. It brings to mind the horrible opium addiction which spread through China in the nineteenth century. Many believe this helped bring about China's humiliation at the hands of European powers and Japan. I assure readers that the Chinese have not forgotten this humiliation.

Part of the humiliation was being forced to buy the opium. The Chinese didn't want to because they couldn't sell enough of their own goods to make up for it, thus forcing them to pay gold. Hence the First and Second Opium Wars, which also led to the first European concessions in China (including Hong Kong).
My grandmother gave me her old copies of Reader's Digest, dating back to 1941 (though hardly complete). One article I read discussed the Japanese use of drugs to keep the Chinese (I think especially in Manchuria) docile, and warned that something similar could happen in America. We certainly are seeing a lot of this, especially in much of the West.

It goes back to the beginning of the China Trade. The Brits bought lots of tea (and silks) from China and wanted to sell goods (especially woolens) to China to help pay for the tea. The Chinese had little need or desire for woolens so the Brits had to pay for Chinese tea with gold or silver.
The solution to this problem came about when the Brits learned to grow opium in Bengal, as I recall, thus finding something the Chinese population desired. The British and British India trade deficit with China disappeared quickly. Of course, the opium trade was illegal in China, but such details never stopped a good trader from trading or a government official from turning a blind eye. As I understand it, the corruption went all the way up to the imperial palace.
To make things worse for China, the Brits smuggled some tea plants out of China and started planting them in India, where Assam turned out to be a great place to grow tea. The British Raj then started supplying the British Isles with all the tea they wanted.

It’s “Soma” in Aldus Huxley’s “Brave New World” as you know. In our culture it is sex, drugs, and video games (and phones). They keep the masses occupied if not always so docile.
But the most powerful drug above all those, for political purposes, is grievance. This is the power of the technology such as iPhones. They lubricate a wide and long pipeline for constantly basting in grievances and just all-around being anything but "social" on social media.

Well, I do think white racism is indeed a problem and should be opposed -- but it's also true that it's a minor problem compared to ideological leftism or jihadism. "Official" statistics make it the main cause of domestic terrorism -- but domestic terrorism, like hate crimes, is often defined very subjectively by local officials who are reluctant to accuse leftist mascot groups of them, but always happy when they can accuse whites. Still, it is a problem, even if the motives in El Paso were something of a mixed bag. (If his concerns were purely ZPG in general, he wouldn't have targeted Mexicans as a specific group.)
There is a long history of leftist criminal incompetence. This reduces the number of mass killings they commit because of bombs that go off early, or shootings ineptly conducted. But the People's Will had similar difficulties trying to assassinate Alexander II, and eventually they succeeded anyway just as he was getting ready to resume his reforms. Just because the baseball field shooter had poor aim and thus wasn't guilty of a mass assassination doesn't mean the next leftist to do that will be.

How do you define "white racism?" For that matter, how does one define racism and is white racism worse that "black racism" or "Chinese racism" or "Latino racism", etc, etc, etc? Is it racist to love one's culture and not wish to have it diluted and destroyed by tens of millions of non-assimilating foreigners? I lived 20 years in Asia and, believe me when I tell you, the Chinese don't want their culture invaded and destroyed by millions of foreigners.
I agree with the writer that it is a mug's game to let the American-hating left i.e. all of the left, and non-whites define the terms.
By the way, the shooter didn't look like the Nazi ideal of an Aryan, so what was he truly after. If the articles I have read can be trusted, one of the things he was doing was targeting "Mexicans." What does that mean? Was he going after people who he thought looked like "Mexicans?" Was he trying to do his best to shoot actual "Mexicans" thus the trip to El Paso which has a lot of cross-border traffic between the USA and Mexico?
There is also the environmental thing. Was he targeting "Mexicans" because he thought they polluted the environment worse than white people?
There is much unknown about this case that will take months to come out, if then. In the meantime, let's let the left control the debate and set the dialogue. To quote Alfred E. Newman, "What me worry?"

Ed Morrow does quite a work-up of David French as well in David French, Tractor Love, and White Nationalism.I understand the evil of the Left to the point it is safe for a normal person to have that understanding and not become tainted by it. ("Luke, don't give in to your anger.") The French types are a little more difficult for me to understand, but not much. At the end of the day, French is playing to his peer group, whatever that group is. No normal man simply stating the lay of the land could otherwise espouse such gibberish unless he was playing to his in-group. Call it "virtue-signallng" or "virtue twerking," if you will. But I don't take what he says at face value because, much like Jonah Goldberg, that man is not stupid. So we just has to assume he is dishonest or opportunistic.
