The thing that stood out to me about that clip is that the guy blabbed and blabbed about what was going on in the White House. I remember the days when government employees with security clearances were not even allowed to talk to their spouses about their work. And one hears that this ethos was pretty broadly adhered to.

Remember how Elton John (or Bernie Taupin) changed the lyrics to "Candle in the Wind" when princess Di died in that tragic accident when she was out gallivanting with a Muslim playboy?
So too has William Joel updated the lyrics to his famous song for this current generation:
I "Like" You Just the Way You Aren't
I go changing, to find the real me You'll never want me as a Cis And don't imagine I'm unfamiliar With the parts I can dismiss
I would not need you, to keep the rubble We could save them in a jar, mm I cut the penis, and now I'm Venus I'll take you just the way you aren't
Don't go crying, it's in fashion It's like changin the color of your hair, mm You'll always have my, rep to cash in And get all your "Likes" and "shares"
I just want several, odd conversions I never want to get it hard, mm I just want someone, another shock troop I want you just the way you aren't
Need to know that you will never be That same ol' sex assigned at birth Oh, what will it take till you release a piece The way that I reduced my girth
I said I "Like" you, that's on Facebook And I promise more missing parts, mm I always "heart" you, a pace-setter I "Like" you just the way you aren't.

Very good! I sang it through in my head and it works.

I think I was channeling Timothy. He was upmost in my mind when I wrote that.

Completely out of the blue, I ran across this video. He's got a new one and apparently he sung it at the 2024 Grammy's. (Who watches that anymore?) He seems to be channeling McCartney to some extent from about 1968. That was my impression, anyway.

You have to read this song within the context of a man who seemingly had it all. Fame. Fortune. Christie Brinkley. And threw it all away on booze.
There's a religious feeling to this song. And it's probably as close as "secular" types can get to writing deeper sentiments. It makes me think how relatively unrestrained the old artists were who could contemplate perhaps Heavenly things….things greater than "capping a cop" or "slapping your bitches."
Billy has, from looking at his music, always been a man of the world. He's embraced it and written about it, and done so quite artfully. And God only knows what inspires a song, but he sounds at least more serious and introspective.

Here's an excellent presentation by Larry at Townhall and well worth listening to.

I guess the term, "better late than never" is appropriate. But I have found Dr. Phil to be something of a left-wing prick in the past. Perhaps he now has enough money to talk freely.

I don't know to the extent that Phil went along with it. But there's no way for a physician or psychologist of integrity to go along with blocking puberty over an internet fad. It would be self-evident to anyone with half a brain that this was not something to support.
So I suppose that Dr. Phil is corrupted like most people in the media, and for the same reason: They are chasing ratings, not facts. For him, the writing on the wall must have recently changed. But please no one insult my (our) intelligence with the idea that Dr. Phil has come to a different conclusion after more careful consideration and thought. Baloney.

So a young couple comes in to have copies of the husband's resume printed out. He's going to a government job fair. While he was outside emailing it to me from his phone, I made some small talk with the wife. How long was your husband in the military? That sort of thing.
She said he was in the army for ten years but got out because of all the "woke" stuff. Knowing I was in friendly company, I told her I was one of the un-crazies. I said this isn't a political difference. This is a dividing line between crazy and sane.
She doubled-down on that and went off on her own Kungian-like diatribe, in complete and full agreement. I thus believe that our military has been denuded to a much greater extent than anyone realizes.
They wanted to know how much for the copies (7 copies of 4 pages). I told them they get the un-crazy discount of zero. No charge. He wouldn't have any of that and handed me a twenty dollar bill and I thanked him.

Good for her. I sometimes have to be careful as I can get very heated when discussing the crimes being committed in this country. I get particularly irate with people who admit the country is going down the drain, but will not come out and clearly call a spade a spade. The country is being destroyed by sociopaths and communists. I know, they are virtually the same thing. There are demons among us. There are servants of demons among us. They lie about everything. They turn truth on its head. They call black white and white black and expect us to agree with them. If we don't they want to put us in jail or sue us bankrupt.
Earlier this week, I told a conservative friend that he was part of the problem because he would not stand up to some of these nuts, because he wanted to have his peace. I understand the desire to avoid constant grief, but these are times that try men's souls and we had all better figure out which side is of the light and which side is of the dark. Then were had better be ready and willing to fight.

One could write an entire book describing the dynamics of this milquetoast acquiescence to what any normal person would describe as a gathering evil. I won't bore you with my own description. But this phenomenon is widespread.

Here's a guy who (mostly) isn't afraid to call a spade a spade: Mengeles EverywhereLove this bit: I've never referred to it as a "Cult of Castration," but that is an apt term. It also suggests the third-rail of gender politics which not even the brave Armando Simon will touch: feminism. To me it is obvious that from the very inception of feminism they wished to metaphorically castrate men. Now I would say that the same impulse is in play and the ideology has evolved to literally castrating men. Obviously some women get mutilation-surgery as well. I don't have numbers as to whether there are more boys losing their testicles than women losing their vaginas. But to be fair, as St. Timothy might say, we must acknowledge the gender-castration that is occurring regarding women as well. Belittling the feminine (as drag queens inherently do), saying that men can menstruate, and accommodating men in women's sports is a frontal assault on the female. Women, too, are under attack. But, as I've noted before, they are just too daft to see the source of it all because they will not saw off the feminist branch that they are all perched on. They will not question the very tenant of that ideology which is in complete agreement with this transgender stuff: One's ideology must trump one's biology.

To be more precise, "demons everywhere."
What is behind feminism? The answer is Marxism, progressivism, leftism. Feminism is the most effective tool the left has found to bring about the destruction of the family and religion, goals which the left has had since the French Revolution. The left wants to atomize society, i.e. create lone individuals, which leaves everyone disconnected and defenseless. Then the left wants to turn the atomized individual into part of a hive which gives the atomized individual protection and a sense of belonging. In the past, such things arose out of families and tribes.
All we need is the queen bee to make everything fit into place.

After a week at the hands of the medical establishment, having nothing to do with gender, I come back to the Roman founder of modern medicine Galen. His writing and philosophy has guided medicine for the last 2000 years. Every physician is instructed in the ideals he established. First among his saying and the first taught in med school is : First do no harm.
How elegant a phrase and so loaded with meaning. First, For a Doctor this means you should be sure the patient is comfortable and all the other necessities of care are attended by staff. Do no Action verbs meaning for the doctor to examine the patient and determine, to the best of his ability, the cause of the ailment. Harm Here is where the problem is. Some ailments can only be cured by causing some additional harm. Others respond to care quickly and the patient is back to health. Of the conditions that the dr can address casteration because of a non medical reason is, right now, the most troubling.
How can any modern doctor, with any conscience, allow the casteration and mutilation of someone in their teens, and even participate in the procedure? To my mind this is a fundamental violation of their oath and a violation of Galen's ideals. They shold be condemed by their peers and cast out of the medical practice.

Read: They eventually transferred him out of the hot-chick nurse ward. Sacrifices were made.
Yeah, I don’t get that either. And the cops at Uvalde. The idiots who run Havard. What we can say is that the moral center of the average American has been rotted out successfully by the Left. Those who aren't actually morally rotten are functionally just as bad when they are among the legions of moral cowards who won't oppose this stuff.
Or castrated out of the medical establishment. I'm not normally for cruel-and-unusual punishment. But what these people are doing to children deserves no less.
