This piece is about the real Golden Children, i.e. the offspring of politicians and others in government who abuse their positions for self-aggrandizement. This included those on the right as well as the left.

The moment I saw this video, I knew that I had to post it here, because Brad would have such empathy for this person.

Oh my gosh

Having to confront a little bit of reality for the first time in her life.  Wait till she's had to work for twenty years. 

My thought was, considering what an entitled little bitch she is now, imagine how the harsh realities of life in business will effect her over time. From a pampered creature, she could become a resentful harpy spreading venom all round her. A 45-year-old, deeply-disappointed witch wishing to punish the world for it not living up to her standards, the primary one being, "You must recognize, comprehend and reward my specialness."  Now multiply that by millions. 

Add that to her likely affinity for the Democrat Party which will basically tell her: "You're not a pampered, spoiled bitch. You're a victim of the male patriarchy, racism, sexism, whateverism."

I have the distinct science-fiction feeling that in 100 years, these people will all be slaves in a gigantic labor camp that the Chinese will make of America. They don't know how to build or protect. They know only how to whine, thus they are sheep ready-made for the shearing. Their master will tell them how special they are while driving them into pens.



That would be a thread title that would cover a hell of a lot of possibilities.

Mr. Flu, Mr. Flu, Mr. Flu. You have filed this in the wrong department. This belongs in the "Culture of Hysteria" thread. This menu thing is a direct and nearly pure outgrowth of feminine angst.

Even if some boys are involved (it's difficult to call them "men" if a menu gives them anxiety), they got that way because they've been fashioned to think and respond to the world like women. They fuss, fuss, fuss, just because no one has ever told them (mustn't displease the ladies...ever) that they are making mountains out of molehills...or (gads) that they are being irrational or hysterical. Suck it up. Get a grip. Take a chill pill.

Now, I will admit to having anxiety in a number of different circumstances that may seem silly to others. But menus have never been one of those things. If I don't like what I see, or the prices are too high, I walk out.

Oh, god, yes. I walk out. I mean, there's your solution right there. Are these troubled yutes simply having trouble with making choices then? Or drawing clear lines? I don't know.

But I'll admit it can be tough to make a good choice. That's why when I find something good at a particular restaurant, I'll usually order the same thing. Over and over. And if I do try something that isn't good, I complain. That's right. I will tell the waiter or waitress (politely, yes) that something wasn't very good. Believe me. You're doing the business a favor if you tell them, although sometimes something is so bad, you say nothing because you have no plans to return to that particular establishment which seems beyond saving or change.

I think the thing to stress over is finding a good parking spot anywhere near where you want to eat. Save the anxiety for the important things.

By the way, a father giving a daughter away is not about property. It is about passing responsibility to care for and protect her to her husband you dimwit. If you don't think this is appropriate, then you can obviously take care of the wedding tab yourself.

Dad won't pay for my wedding
