Well, Jeb! said it was the best half-time show he'd ever seen. While I do not style myself as an expert. I have in the past had occasion to visit stripper bars, brothels and gentlemans' clubs. The halftime show was worthy of many of them and not as good as others. I have no objection to T & A in its own place. I would be embarrassed for my granddaughters or my grandmother to have watched this offense to the eyes. I found the music uninspiring, something no one feels the need to remove their cloths, male or female. The costumes were Vegas castoffs with tired fireworks. It is not so much that it is offensive, it is that it was planned to offend. There was no accidental nipple slip here this was a giant F U to middle America.

I wonder how an owner, such as Lamar Hunt's son who claims to be a Christian, can be a party to such rubbish? Oh wait, I forgot.

You are playfully setting yourself up for the question of “Why, Mr. Kung, did it almost 30 seconds?” An astute and brilliant comment.
You should have seen right after the halftime show when they cut back to the studio. A couple of these assholes were falling all over themselves to praise this junk. Terry Bradshaw and Howie Long were subtly rolling their eyes and trying to bring the subject back to football. I gained respect for both of those men…and lost whatever respect I had for the clowns in the booth…who I don’t remember.

I think I came in on a face shot and then the camera panned out.

I listened to Limbaugh for a little this morning to get his reaction to the Super Bowl. He was milquetoast but did note that the battle regarding honoring the flag has been won by the sensible people. He said (and I missed some of this while playing host) the NFL went out of their way honoring the flag.

There was a face during the show? All I remember is...well...it wasn't a face.

That's good to know. Both are old-fashioned Democrats as far as I know. So it is good that they won't degrade themselves by calling chicken shit, chicken salad.

My own thoughts on this was when the cute Fox sideline correspondent would start doing her reports using a pole as a prop. Why not? Honestly. Why not? What dignity is left to preserve?
Dennis Prager distinguishes between private behavior and public behavior. And I think he’s right. We might use coarse language among friends but it degrades us and society when we do so publicly.
What could be holier than sex between a man and a woman? It’s what we’re made for. But do it on a park bench in front of Macy’s and you’ve turned it into something else.

Of course the idiots among us would call Prager's observations hypocrisy. Those who have even half a brain understand what Prager is trying to say. For example, making love to one's wife in private is quite normal and in the nature of things. Making love to one's wife on the 50 yard line during the Super Bowl Half-Time show would be obscene. I apologize for being so graphic, but sometimes it takes drastic measures to make a point.

I can’t (or shouldn’t) get specific here regarding my own family (particularly cousins and their daughters). But this is an indoctrination process whereby through repetition (subtle and not so subtle) girls are trained away from any sense of modesty.
Boys and men, of course, have to just sit silently and take it. As they’ve well been taught, to council modesty and restraint is “sexist” and an assertion of male domination. So they learn to be eunuchs and cast off their honor.
Leftist indoctrination always is about silencing the voice of conscience and reason. To keep that conscience tamped down, you have to shock the system with more and more violence and vulgarity in order to try to keep it seeming normal.
This is the definition of our current popular culture. They keep ratcheting up the vulgarity in order to drown out the possibility of any small voice of reason or conscience shinning through.
So when Jeb! Bush or anyone else praises this sort of thing, they are not just showing bad taste. They are helping to facilitate evil.
I’m an observer. And I’m shocked still about the behavior of liberal female members of my family. But it’s easy to see the programming. And these women are set up for a lifetime of grief. God help their boyfriends and husbands.

My mistake. I was just looking at the Fox News webpage and apparently the woman's name is Shakira. I still don't know who she is.

I just listened to KFZ's presentation of "Money Makes the World Go Around". I decided that the coverage of Iowa wouldn't end before I go to bed, so I couldn't wait until then. (There are no results yet due to "quality control", which some think may be Leftist Newspeak for "rigging the results". Or more likely denying Bolshie Bernie momentum.)
A friend who saw the movie once told me about the song (which he appreciated given his background in finance), but I've never seen it myself. I did see the play (which I gather bears little resemblance to the movie) at Purdue. (Elizabeth also had the soundtrack to the play, which doesn't include the song.)
But money does indeed make the world go around. All the Demagogue anti-capitalists know this because they're all rich. Sort of like the MAD Magazine Lighter Side cartoon (I stopped reading it when Dave Berg was no longer there) about some teens complaining that their father's heroes were all millionaires. When they pointed out that he'd never heard of their heroes (rock and folk stars), he denied this. "Of course I have. They're all millionaires."

It is not only girls.
Today, two "conservative" talk-show hosts in the DFW area went on record complaining about the Texas Republican Party not allowing the Log-Cabin-Republicans, i.e. people whose main political identity is that they are queers, have an official seat at the State convention or something to that effect.
It would seem pretty clear that these two "conservative" commentators coordinated their complaints and one can't help but wonder who put them up to it.
From a political perspective, I have no problem if homosexuals wish to join the Republican party. However, I have a big problem when a group based upon/around the sexual activities of it members, particularly deviant sexual activities, tries to push its agenda on the "conservative" party.
There is nothing conservative about such a group. It is trying to destroy the traditional family structure and goes against the traditional culture of the West. They have partially succeeded in this goal with the help of tyrannical courts and a corrupt media which spreads its poison through the drip, drip, drip of propaganda. As I have said before, even the ancient-queer Greeks knew that marriage was an institution between a man and a woman.
If anything, it would be more logical to have a group called the "Brick and Mortar Republicans" representing heterosexuals on the convention floor.
Queer promiscuity is not a conservative value.
I won't be listening to Rick Roberts and Chris Salcedo any more.

It was probably the best scene in the movie. As I said before, I first saw the film in West Germany during the Fall of 1973. It was a very strange experience.
The Dims are now opening displaying what a corrupt party they are.

The tricky thing about “gay rights” is that it’s not about gay rights. In the slipstream of the movement, indeed, homosexuals have probably been given some rights and protective laws that were fair and needed.
But the bow of this ice-breaker is about, as you said, destroying the traditional family structure. Queers who are beneficiaries of the ice-breaker don’t care that they are aboard the Titanic (to mix metaphors even more).
Our culture is not astute enough to make these distinctions: Basic rights, but without the need for creeps and the mentally ill who are steering the boat to set the destructive standard for us all.

It's certainly true that homosexual militants have gone well beyond seeking toleration to demanding full approval.
Meanwhile, Babylon Bee has a convincing explanation for why the half-time performers wore so little in the way of clothing. The link is:
