No society, culture, community or government can long survive when there is no considerable majority agreement on basic truths and beliefs. When nobody agrees on which "truths" are correct and real, i.e. when everything is "relative," then a community has chaos. Everyone fights each other. Unity is impossible. Disintegration ensues.
This is exactly what our sociopathic overlords are trying to create. Splinter and destroy the society, until they can come in and pick up the pieces and impose their "truths" on everyone, which they surely will do.

To show how out-of-date I am; I have never heard one of those songs his friends sang. I have been preserving my brain cells. I also have never heard of Max Martin. That said, pop music and rock-n-roll have always used a minimum number of chords. Three major chords are pretty standard. A, D and G have been very popular from the beginning of the genre. They are probably the most simple to strum on a guitar. Sometimes a minor, 7th or # chord is used. I guess some writers thought they were getting sophisticated by using four chords. |

Why ask the question? Has anyone come up with anything even hinting that this is the case? Again, this is at best, the mental masturbation of nerds. It is people trying to appear smarter than they are and smarter than the rest of us plebs. People who mistake or misuse words for reality. People who hate the idea of a spiritual being greater than themselves. They could happily accept it if we were all being run by aliens who were just smarter than us. They cannot take the idea of being created by something beyond their kin. Something non-material yet real, good and all powerful.
Only nerds, who don't get out much, could seriously believe we exist as some kind of computer generation. I seriously believe anyone who believes such nonsense has some emotional problems at the very least. Gnosticism has simply gone high-tech.

This is to your credit. Have you heard of Cole Porter? Of course you have. Stepping in manure is nothing to brag about. Max Martin? Honestly, I'd never heard of him either. The guy who wrote "I've Got You Under My Skin," "You're the Top," and "Night and Day"? Of course you know that because you're not a Creton, you're not a member of the Slobocracy, the mindless mass-mind of morons who grow more and more insensate the louder and longer they are immersed in tripe.
By all means, mourn the passing of class, talent, and meaning – and especially humor. But what I find most funny (having known zero about the SwiftWits a day ago) is that her music is basically feminist tripe. "Oh, my boyfriend who left me 15 years ago is such a cad." These are women who can't get over themselves and will never be happy. You can see this by their need to be moved by something. And if the mass mind is all you've got, you've got very little.

Well...nothing new under the sun:
We might ask if this or that in the Bible is literally true. But what cheek it takes to suppose that there were no people thinking about this stuff long before we started dreaming up this silly secular stuff of living in the Matrix.
Atheism runs so deep in our culture that it is thus inconceivable that anything in the Bible could be at least philosophical and metaphysically logical. No, it must all be recast to satisfy the vulgar views of those for whom f-bombs are like holy words. And if they have the equivalent of holy water, it is some over-caffeinated drink that keeps them buzzed enough to maintain the belief that they are brilliant instead of the hack thinkers that they are.

The Matrix was the product of perverted, fevered minds. I forget the name of the two degenerate brothers who came up with this. Wolinsky? Walinsky? Whatever. Now they prance around in bras and dresses.
I can't help but suspect that The Matrix is a film for the modern slob who sits around in his basement dreaming of being a hero. Just a hero who doesn't have to bestir himself from his chair while eating Cheetos and drinking Diet Coke or Red Bull. He can see himself as saving the world, or whoever, yet not have to make any effort or take any risk while doing so. Hell, he doesn't even have to dress for it.

I had no idea that the authors of The Matrix were Weirdos.
I thought the first movie was pretty good but it turned to garbage after that.

I don't know his policies, Mrs. Kung. But what a great way to handle a "journalist" who is not a journalist, of course, but an ideologue for the Left.
I would take a draq queen as PM if he (or she) believed in free speech, balanced budgets, and thought that "woke" was one of the greatest threats we face. Of course, you'll not find a single (or married) drag queen who believes any of that...which is why perhaps "common sense" needs to come to the fore.
Canada is one fucked up country. They are now a nation of ideological kooks. However, we're not all that far behind.
