About the only place that may be decreasing is Idaho. I read a somewhat funny article about that. A lot of normal white people (two of my friends did that a couple years ago) are moving there in order to escape the liberal lunacy. And it really apparently doesn't bother them that the evil liberals slander them as "white supremacists" and such. They figure it helps to keep the libtards away if they really do think that.

I don't know if the Dr. Jordan Peterson mentioned in the article is the same guy, but: Michael Brown steps outside of "woke" space in Fat is Not Fit. He summarizes:

I'd forgotten we had a specific thread dedicated to Dr. Jordan Peterson. I sure have been watching a lot of his videos lately.

It was interesting, maybe not surprising, to see Jordan Peterson in a buddy-buddy video with someone he apparently has extensively toured with on a book tour. This fellow is a homosexual and is "married." The subject is "Gay Parenting: Promise and Pitfalls."
I'm not for being mean to gay people. But the question is: How can you be against any of the other stuff being forwarded by the left if you've accepted not only "married" homosexuals but the idea of them being able to adopt children?
It's useful to note that those who comment about The Overton Window are no less susceptible to it. So how can you oppose "trans rights," Drag Queen Story Hour, and even MAPs (minor-attracted persons) if you've already swallowed the red pill on gay marriage?
I don't have an answer. But I fully expect in five years to have people such as Peterson defending Drag Queen Story Hour, the mutilation of children who are "transitioning," and god knows only what else.
There is no conservatism without saying "no" or "this far, but no farther." This is why libertarianism is so appealing to many. No matter what they say they believe, the basic idea is that they don't have to say "no" to anything, Well, how are conservatives much different?

I've watched a few more videos by Jordan Peterson, and boy has this guy become a phenomenon in the last few years. He seems to be selling out wherever he goes. His talk in Everett is sold out but there are some tickets left for his Fort Worth appearance. Yeah, it's another profitable book club. But he is taking the conservative/traditional message to people who wouldn't otherwise hear it. Not only that, he is teaching conservatives how to engage with the Left successfully. None of the points (none) are things new to you or me, although he usually states them more eloquently. But I think his main appeal is his steady logic as he implicitly (not explicitely) presents his views as based on science. He is frequently citing surveys. And he, of course, is a shrink which is a recognized Legitimate Authority by Progressives, Snowflakes, and psychologically Eunuch-ized males. Now, that's all well and good. And I've come to praise Jordan Peterson, not to bury him. He's doing the good work and making a butt-load of money off of conservative (or just mainstream) discontent. Whether this changes the culture any, I don't know. But it's push-back. And we need that. It at least starts there although it is all empty rhetoric unless it leads to results. But taking a more bird's eye view (which is what we do here...talking about things five to ten years before anyone else is), the opposition to Peterson (or anyone like him) is of the hysterical variety. You don't have to search hard on YouTube to see him talking with some crazy (or just sinister) women. First, don't get me wrong. If America was full of Margaret Thatchers, I wouldn't have to point out some of this stuff. Or even if America was full of MTG's, there would be no reason to raise the issue of feminism and the neutering of the American male: MTG Goes Nuclear Against Former Twitter Exec For Banning Conservatives While Allowing Child PornBut MTG's and Thatchers are in the extreme minority. In fact, I'm not aware that we have even a single Margaret Thatcher in our midst. So the reality is that the hysterical push-pack that Peterson (and others) receive is about power, not ideology, per se. A guy such as Peterson is dangerous because he is forcefully, logically, and persistently challenging the Left on their basic tenets and he is doing so as a bold and unapologetic man. Although few are honest or self-aware enough (right or left) to admit to this, he is ultimately pitting the authority of men over the authority of hysterical women. And it is the opinion of yours truly that only when men reassert their authority do we have any hope of fixing what needs fixing. That doesn't mean the total domination of women. But it does mean not treating them like untouchable princesses who can never be crossed lest they careen into a career-destroying temper-tantrum. And that is the situation of today. And Jordan Peterson is one of the few to face this (and more than once) and come out intact. He is a vital threat to the authority of hysterical women. And this is the real battle playing out, so grab your popcorn and keep watching.
