+ Trump likely winning the popular vote takes away several Leftist narratives. It seems Trump had this in mind to win the popular vote with all his rallies. I would argue that no president since ? (obviously not Washington) has worked as hard to become president. Still, I read last night that some Democrat operative disguised as a journalist said that the electoral college was "voter suppression." As Vespa said, "You can’t seethe about the Electoral College when Trump won the popular vote." + I read that a poll said that most people thought it was Trump who was going to save democracy. + A decent victory speech by Trump last night. I think the highlight was him pointing out Elon Musk, especially in terms of his help with Starlink and his latest accomplishments with Starship. Elon took a yuge risk to oppose the Deep State, considering that much of his business is built upon government largesse. + I read that Gen Z (whoever they are, especially males), lied about who they were voting for. That is, they hid their support for Trump. One day all men will brake free from the Bossy Karens. + There was one guy on Fox News last night who was good. But, good golly, maybe it was the lateness of the evening. But they don't have a deep bullpen. The one black guy was awful, as well as a couple of the women. + Vespa links to X where Juan Williams makes an ass out of himself. Williams was always so clearly one of the first and most prominent DEI hires as a commenter on Fox. Williams is a soft racist and can't think beyond race. I think it was Karl Rove who finally put him in his place. + Some have written that Trump's victory is a death blow to the RINOs. I doubt that. But it certainly has weakened that wing of the party. But like cockroaches, they never go away. + From what I can see from the Breitbart map, over the night Minnesota went to Harris and NV, UT and AK went to Trump. They have the electoral count as 286 to 226 with 26 left to decide (Michigan and Arizona). + I'm still embarrassed to be living in a blue state. + I read that there was a major swing of Catholics to Trump. + Good luck to California where "California voters embraced law and order on Tuesday, voting to approve Proposition 36, which will impose harsher penalties for drug crimes and repeat theft." I said good luck because it will take that to get anyone to enforce that law. + There's no surprise that Wall Street reacted positively. The Dow is up 1233, although I wouldn't expect the gains to hold. But it does show the attitude out there.

It's absolutely essential that the RNC continue to strive for integrity of elections. The Rats: Oprah, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen (I understood 20 years ago that his all-American image was a fraud), George Clooney, Robert De Niro (arguably the biggest flake of them all), Barbra Streisand (perhaps I stand corrected), David Letterman (there can be no surprise that this guy is a flake), Samuel L. Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Downey Jr., Ben Stiller, Harrison Ford, Whoopi Goldberg (I may stand corrected again).

David Strom, in a way, posts the million dollar question in No Mercy: The entire thing is worth reading. Strom is somewhat optimistic: I expect that Trump will be a little wiser in who he appoints. He quotes analysis by Duane: That's really the billion dollar question. Has Trump learned from the past? Can he dial down his petulance? Can he not be so easily baitable? I don't expect him to go after nearly anyone. That doesn't seem to be how he works. But we'll see.

A friend from Singapore emailed me this.
Great news for the world. Deep trouble for deep states civil servants. I hope Elon mask as efficiency officer will fire at least half of incompetent officers in govt agencies etc as first step 😊😊
A friend from Austria emailed me this.
Congratulations! Long live America and Texas!

There is little doubt that he has learned a lot. For example, traditionally, a presidential candidate who wins receives funds from the government to put together his new team and transition to the presidency. That means that the funds are only available some days after the declaration of him as the winner.
Most people do not know this, but Trump has been personally financing his new team and the transition to the presidency for weeks now. He has not waited for government funds. This means he is far ahead of where others would be and more importantly, it means he has people in place now who have been prepping for the transition and inauguration. They will be ready to hit the ground, not only running, but hundreds of yards further along than a normal team.
This also shows that Trump has thought out his personnel problem and is far better prepared than he was in January of 2017. As you know, I believe his choice of personnel was probably the biggest failure of his first term.
He doesn't need to go after anyone. With the right personnel in place, his surrogates will wield the knives which will be used to bring about justice and efficiency and (somewhat) fair and transparent governance.
I don't believe he will go after those who simply disagreed with him, but I do believe there will be some level of accountability for the likes of those in the FBI, CIA and elected government who broke the law and of those there are already legion. If this does not happen there is no doubt the demons will continue to abuse their power and break the law. For the American system to work, this cannot be allowed to continue. Even if Trump doesn't understand this, many of his people do and they will push for retribution/justice. I believe that some in the media belong on the list of those who need to be "disciplined."

If that is so, that could certainly point to a Trump 2.0, at least tactically speaking. I'm highly skeptical that any individuals will be prosecuted, but you never know. I'm also skeptical that DEI, political correctness, and the implicit racism of the Left will be exposed and crushed. To some extent, Trump's election gives some needed cover to people to speak out instead of cower.
But it's way too early to see how this plays out.

I haven't read the article yet, but what do you think about Andy McCarthy saying that Biden should pardon Trump?

If in his pardon Biden came out and said that the whole raft of lawsuits against Trump were baseless and should never have been brought, then I might have a tiny bit of sympathy for the idea. But we know this is not going to happen.
In my opinion, McCarthy is again playing the RINO when he suggests such a pardon. In his mind, we should continue to play by the Marquess of Queensberry Rules when we are in power and let the Demonrats bring knives, chains and guns to a boxing match. This is exactly the type of thinking which got us to our present point.
Should Biden simply pardon Trump without admitting the fraud behind the lawfare, then an odor would remain around the reputation of Trump i.e. that he was actually guilty but Biden was a big-hearted fellow who pardoned Trump for the good of the country. Bullshit.
No sir. I think this whole farce needs to be played out to the end, and once Trump is vindicated, he needs to go after those who were behind the crime. Root them out. Salt the ground from which they sprang. Make shining examples of them for all such future potential criminals.
The penultimate sentence of that piece displays a lack of intellectual depth or dishonesty on McCarthy's part.
Only half of the public could draw such a conclusion. Believe me, there are tens-of-millions out there who believe the disgusting lawsuits were absolutely justified and that Trump has been convicted of being a felon dozens of times. Surely McCarthy understands that.
Frankly, I believe McCarthy's suggestion is made with ill will toward Trump. Sweeping the crap under the rug might make things look better, but the stench would still be there, and grow over time.
The people behind the whole lawfare prosecutions must be brought to justice. Crush them! Then others might think twice before trying something similar.

I believe the only effective way to do this is through withdrawal of funds. First from the government, i.e. shrink the leviathan so much that it is not able to promote such programs. Second, cut off government funding for any organization which has a DEI department of promotes the ideas.
Finally, to get to the roots of DEI, something must be done to rein in BlackRock, State Street, Vanguard and other such financial institutions. As I mentioned before, these organizations require any company which they fund sign documents confirming that DEI programs and such will be followed. This must stop.

I think it very likely that some will be prosecuted. Both Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon were sent to prison for refusing to submit to illegal subpoenas from Congress. The Justice Dept. then brought suit and sent them to prison.
Both men are close to Trump, but Navarro is very close to him. Navarro is the only main advisor who stayed throughout Trump's full first term. He is also still advising Trump and has been traveling with Trump around the nation. Knowing Navarro's and Bannon's characters, I don't think they will stop pushing for some type of justice.
Then there are Trump's children who were harassed by the DOJ. Both Don Jr. and Eric were questioned for hundreds of hours, answered hundreds of subpoenas about things which they had no knowledge. Trump has brought both of them on stage at a number of his rallies and mentioned this. I don't think Trump will simply forget this. The Trump family would appear to be very close and believe me, a father does not like it when someone goes after his children to get at him.
Here is Steven K. Bannon letting the criminal leftists know that justice will be meted out to them.

The military-industrial-intelligence-security-state-financial-bigtech-bigpharma-Demonrat-RINO-complex hate Trump. But even more importantly they fear him. As I said back in 2016 or 2017, he is a particular threat to them because they can neither buy him, nor break him. That's what being a billionaire can do. Still, they tried to get rid of him constantly from 2017 through 2020. Does anyone believe he didn't learn anything from those four years?
Now, over the last four years the deep state globalists have tried to bankrupt Trump, they have tried to put him in jail, they have tried to assassinate him. They have tried everything possible to destroy him. They will likely try to assassinate him before he is sworn into office on January 20, 2025.
If Trump hasn't learned from this then he is a complete idiot. He is so out of touch with reality that he shouldn't be allowed to become president. Not for a second, do I believe either of those suppositions.
The deep state knows that Trump is coming after them. They will try to stop him. He must crush them! If he doesn't they will kill him. It's that simple.

I thought that the best paragraph of the whole piece. It seems even crunchy conservatives are beginning to understand the state of things and admit the only effective tools which we have at our disposal to change and shape our situation.
We have known this for years. Idiot RINOs and libertarians have not.

I am not familiar enough with the law so as to understand how this can be done. I do know that the Supreme Court has ruled against a number of "affirmative action" rules applied by various universities to increase minority enrollment. Regardless these rulings, the universities find ways to ignore the law or get around it. That's why I can only see cutting back funds as a way to stop this nonsense.
