Every time I wonder if my opinion of Libertarians is perhaps too narrow and unfair, they just prove to me yet again what a bunch of kooks and flakes they are.

I strongly recommend everyone read this posting from a Californian hedge fund type who is clearly a leftist/libertarian type. Even he has seen the light as regards the deep state's war against Trump. I just contributed $300,000 to elect Trump

One guy in that thread wrote:
If so, that's good news. There will be appeals. But as others wrote last night and this morning, this issue is now in the hands of the American people. Will they blink? I don't know. There are just so many idiot liberal women and feminized men.
I'm glad this this clown donated to Trump and wrote what he did. But what kind of moron could write the above? Regardless of how you stand on killing the unborn, if ever there was a party that was "imposing their views on others" it is the Democrat party. However, he makes a number of good points. I just think it's interesting how feminism and libertarianism has so deeply rotted the souls of so many.

My reaction to the above was that it was his way of signalling his Demonrat cred in order to shield himself from the crazies out there. No respectable leftist/libertarian wants to be seen as a knuckle-dragging conservative.
"I'm a good progressive/libertarian, but things have gotten so bad that even I had to do something."

I don't know who this guy is, but he sounds like he has some common sense. From what I can see, black males are moving toward Trump in large numbers. If this is the case, change is coming. I don't care if I lose sponsors

"He's getting the people treatment." Okay. Whatever. Doing a video while you're driving isn't exactly an FDR fireside chat. But he's an "influencer" which means he's sucked fully into the vortex of online ego-junky junk so I guess that's indicative of something for him to support Trump. I'm not sure what. But I'll take it.

From the little I have seen, these people give many talks in their cars. It seems to be very common.
I find the term "influencer" somewhat strange and possibly/probably indicative that the person has no particular talent/expertise. That said, such is the state of things in our society. From what I have read, significant portions of the population receive their info from these people, thus "influencers" have a large influence on the thinking of our country. I find that strange, but one has to adapt to the times if one is interested gaining votes in today's democracy.

I just find that bizarre. But considering there were 42,795 motor vehicle fatalities in 2022, I suppose it's not surprising. That's like taking the size of the city that I live in and wiping one of them off the map every year.
I was thinking just yesterday: I'm not sure to what extent people are just bizarre and to what extent modern influences have made people that way. I honestly don't know. I suppose I wold have to live several lifetimes to figure that out. Is modern technology simply amplifying the inane, tasteless, idiotic, and vulgar? I expect so. But I also expect these things have always been with us.
One could say that an "influencer" has a talent for feeding the mass-clicks-mind on social media. Let's face it. If you came up for a cure to the common cold and announced it, you might get a few thousands views or "likes." But, good god, look at some of the absolutely trivial junk that gets millions of views. It is at these times when I feel quite alienated from the human race. And I'm not sure that's such a bad state of affairs.

A big yes to both observations. Human nature has a tendency to spin out of control. Mankind has sought religion and order not just because of fear of the unknown, but because we fear each other because we know what we are capable of.
Am I becoming redundant when I point out that libertarians are nuts?

I've had some experience with libertarians. And that does apply to many. I've been watching some old movies on Tubi TV of late. A couple of them were centered in and around the Nazi era. The one I'm watching now, Hangmen Also Die, is centered in Praque regarding the assassination attempt (ultimately successful, of course) on Reinhard Heydrich. There's a different movie about the planning and the attempt. This one is more about the aftermath and I'm barely 17 minutes into it. But such movies help to bring clarity because they remind us of the techniques of terror and control. DEI is a complete "soft" Nazi-like race-based game of intimidation. But it is Nazi-like all the same. And it hit me (certainly not for the first time) that the problem with libertarians is that they are morally obtuse. As we see with their presidential nominee, the libertarians are active collaborators with the Nazis.
By the way, this is also true of most Jews. They are so morally obtuse that they cannot see past the Leftist propaganda that conservatives are supposedly "right wing" (as they understand "right wing" in their fevered imaginations). They cannot make what should be an easy association that it is the left wing (communists, socialists, etc., including the National Socialists) who are rabidly antisemitic. But whisper "right wing" to these fools and they come running with their hair on fire in support of Stalin and his successors – one of those successors being the modern Democrat party.

As I have told readers before, the rest of the world watches what is happening in America on a daily basis. Even people in Singapore see the Banana Republic that we have become and fear for the future. But they are also know which people are for correcting the problem and which are trying to destroy us. A friend in Singapore sent me this. Mark Levin

When you have friends from outside the U.S. sending you Mark Levin, that's good news. Trump, if elected, should nominate him for the Supreme Court.

As much as I admire Levin, this would be a mistake. Levin will be 67 in September this year. That is much too old for the position. If Trump wins and is able to appoint a new justice, we need someone in their early-to-late 50s, at the outside. We need a constitutional Supreme Court for the next 20 years, at least.
Levin has had heart problems and clearly has some type of tremor, which could be Parkinson's or some other neurological disease. I think I would like him as A.G. or counsel to the president. Or maybe better, a special counsel to go after Fauci or other criminals in the government like the 51 ex-Intelligence officials who signed the letter saying the the Laptop from Hell, aka Hunter Biden's laptop, was Russian misinformation. Each and everyone of them is a traitor.

Yes, a younger candidate would be better. But the up side to Levin is that I could likely understand the decisions that he wrote.

It is long overdue for O'Biden to wander off into the sunset, or more likely in his case the opposite direction. I am amazed they have kept him in office till now. That he occupies the Oval Office is extremely dangerous for the world. But I have to admit that I gain great personal satisfaction by seeing the Demonrats squirm over the situation they have brought to pass. Do not be surprised if Joe keels over from some "natural" ailment in the summer. The longer he is semi-ambulatory, the more difficult November 5th gets for them. Manifest Gibberish

Last night, we went out for supper to celebrate Mdm. Flu's birthday. While there, I saw a man walk by wearing a dark-blue T-shirt with "F..K Biden" emblazoned across the front. Between the F and K was an American flag. When we got home, I told Mdm. Flu about the T-shirt (she had not seen it) and said that I almost got up to shake the man's hand. Mdm. Flu told me that I should have done it.
I believe this was the shirt.
