Sounds right to me, except I suspect I would add more mustard than you. Every now and then, I also like an A1 burger. This substitutes A1 Sauce for the mustard. This is especially good it the burger is char-grilled outside. I love the burnt grate marks on my meat. At least this much charring.

The jar of Savora mustard came in today. I took a quick taste. All I can say is that it is a… I've changed my lunch menu tomorrow from a stir fry to egg salad sandwiches. Egg. Mayo. Paprika. Green onion. And maybe a teaspoon or two of mustard. This should be good. Best mustard I've ever tasted.

This re-confirms my memory of the mustard. I haven't had any since, probably, the mid-1990s, but it was so good that it was impossible to forget. You need to trademark that logo.

The egg salad sandwiches turned out very well with the Savora mustard. I always put too much paprika in it. But who doesn't like paprika? The reviews from my brother were good as well. And I told him about the Angel of Death Burgers that I plan to make. He's good with that.

A packaged arrived via UPS today and I didn't know what the heck it was at first. Then the "aha" moment. The Fire from the Sky has arrived: This sauce has a very good taste. It's a little hotter than I'm used to but I was sipping it straight out of the bottle. And this could certainly, by Arkansas standards, be a "man-up" situation. I can't wait to try some on some burgers. It should be good on stir-fry as well. Many many thanks, Artler, for this lightning-in-a-bottle. I looked forward to at least months of use, although I realize this might be just a week's supply 'round your parts.

The sauce is like Arkansas, the spicy creeps up on you. I have used it in stir fry and it is very good, burgers and steak as well. McClards is one of the premier BBQ of the state. Thery do a tamale/Fritos mix covered with the sauce that has made grown men faint. Enjoy, of course you could just stick a straw in it and sip.

Maybe. But what I was thinking of doing was dressing up like Audrey Hepburn, prancing or sashaying around the tub (I haven't decided which yet), with my face on bottles of the sauce in the background. You see, this was all just a clever plot to bring down McClard's. I'll be shooting for 30% market down-tick. I'll be wearing my black Audrey Hepburn sports bra for extra effect. I'll have some gimmick like "Wow...ain't I as hot as McClard's?"

This isn't a hot sauce. It's a flavor sauce. The world is full of cheap sauces that simply add heat, and that's enough for the Slobrarian's palate. And the world is full of base, cheap foods that ramp up their appeal with salt, fat, and/or sugar.
I stopped by Winco on the way back from Silverdale. I bought some turkey and a nice bread that was halfway between a Kaiser roll and a hamburger bun. I thought I'd test these out for some upcoming Angel of Death burgers.
They were pretty good. I also bought some potato salad at the deli on the side. This was the "red" potato salad which is a yuge step up from the sort of mayonnaise soup that is sold as "potato salad" on the low end. This red potato salad has nice chunks of potatoes and the right amount of mayo.
So I got home and put a sandwich together. And I saw those bottles of McClard's sitting there and thought, "I wonder if this would be good on potato salad?" I put about five small drops on a portion and mixed it up a bit.
It didn't turn the potato salad into "hot" salad. In fact, it wasn't particularly hot at all. Perhaps there is something natural in the potatoes and/or mayo that evens out the hotness. But what it was was good. This really turned a good, but average, potato salad into something special.

I hadn't thought of using it in potato salad but that sounds delicious.

Below is a totally unretouched photo of today's lunch. Angel of Death BurgersWe skillet-fried some lean ground beef. On the bottom of the bun were sauteed Walla Walla sweet onions and mushrooms. On the top of the patty was some melted Tillamook sharp cheddar cheese. On the top of the bun was a modest amount of mayo, Mr. Kung's world famous mustard, and three or four dashes of McClard's sauce. Even my brother noted how that little bit of sauce added something to it. Long story short, it's the best burger I've had in a long time, and certainly the best Angel of Death Burger.

I would eat that. Glad to hear that the mustard is still being used. Yesterday, we met a friend for burgers at Ye Ole Butcher Shop in downtown Plano. This is an actual butcher shop which also has a restaurant inside. I believe they serve the best burgers in Plano. Yesterday was Elk Burger day, and I had one. I like this more than a traditional burger. That said, Ye Old Butcher Shop makes the BEST sandwich I have ever had. Every Friday they have the Rib Eye sandwich special. This is a steak between bread. It is great! A few years back it only cost $10, now the special is $21. Too rich for my blood. Thankfully, their prices for everything else are reasonable.

That sounds great. That's real red-state red-meat. It'll put hair on your chest, as they say. But if you're transgender, I'm not sure what it'd do. Probably something like this:

Again, thank you very much for the sauce, Artler. Your generosity is not taken for granted.

You are very welcome, my friend.
It has been almost 50 years since I was in Washington State and that was Seattle and across the border into Canada. There is a lot of your lovely state I wish I had seen. The scablands of eastern Washington are very interesting. You have an open invitation to visit anytime you venture out. Arkansas has the only diamond mine in North America. It is a lot of work but it is possible to find diamonds up to three carats or larger.
