I was reading a Hot Air article on a paranoid rant in the New York Slimes and found myself thinking of a song parody, to the tune of "Alouette".
Paranoia, leftist paranoia. Paranoia leads the left astray.

I considered voting for Kinky as governor one year when I got fed up with governor Perry. At least Kinky had some entertainment value.
I always knew he was odd, but old Kinky was drinking more than tequila when he wrote that piece.
I think Texas was an interesting place for Jews back in the 1950s and 1960s when I grew up here. Dallas had a fair number of Jews and Temple Emmanuel was big and in a very nice neighborhood. I knew a few older Jews who had been born in Texas. I believe Mr. Brown had been born in Corsicana. In any case, he had spent his youth there. Most, however, had come from places as far away as Germany. via Bolivia and elsewhere, or New York and Chicago. I recall one telling me how much better accepted Jews were in Texas than places like Chicago. |

Remember that the antebellum South had at least 2 significant Jewish politicians (David Yulee of Florida and Judah Benjamin of Louisiana). Anti-Semitism was less of a tradition there. For that matter, for several years in the 1980s the only state with a Jewish Senator and a Catholic was . . . Nevada (conservative Republicans Chic Hecht and Paul Laxalt).

There doesn't seem to be an appropriate string on which to post this, so Parodies will have to do. Three thoughts went through my head after reading the piece linked to below. 1. That's putting the die into dialysis. 2. The epitome of personalized health care. 3. I could think of a worse way to go. Patient dies while having sex with nurse. |
