I've played my share of Milton Bradley games when I was young (Parker Brothers, too). But I don't recall this one. Except maybe Milles Bornes (I think that was the title), I don't recall playing any card games of that sort (i.e., not involving a standard card deck), though there were some that included cards. Monopoly does, when it comes to that.

Parker Brothers had a lot of good games and brings back a lot of good memories. I had Milles Bornes but I’m not sure I played it much. It was an old set that looked something like this: The cards themselves looked something like this: I think it was a case of that it looks like a real fun game, in theory. In practice it was pretty blah. That's surely why I didn't play it much. Maybe I just didn't have a confederate who was enthusiastic and chould show me how much fun it was. I don't know.

And you gotta love the Parker Brothers logo. You're sure to be sucked into a vortex of fun: There was an older style logo as well that was common. The name in a script font was above the whirlpool. I can't find a good copy online although I can see it on some of the covers of the old board games. But not the isolated logo itself.

There's even a pre-vortex version of the logo as you can see on this 1954 version of Monopoly:

I know I've seen Mille Bornes and am familiar with the game, but I never had a copy and can't have played it much. I do recall playing a game of Great War air combat that had a similar concept but actually involved a board or some such as well as the cards that were used to resolve combat.
We did have Monopoly and played that a good bit, though I don't know if I ever played it to completion (i.e., the other player went bankrupt). My brother said he actually did once, bankrupting my sister. We also played a lot of Careers (my goals tended to be evenly split between money and happiness).
