Redheads make up about 3% of the total population. It seems to me that an extraordinary number of redheads, mostly female, have suddenly appeared on television commercials. Has anyone else noticed, or am I like my best girl says, "just nuts"?

I have not noticed that trend.
Notable redheads in film and TV:
+ Christina boom-boom Hendricks (Mad Men, Firefly) + Gillian Anderson + Gates “I’m not Picard’s mistress” McFadden + Alicia single-boom Witt (I didn’t know she was Alia Atreides in Dune) + Jessica Rabbit + Ann-Margrock + Daphne Blake + Wilma Flinstone
Lucille Ball didn’t make the list because it would be a step down for her to even be compared to the others.
And one more “boom” for Hendricks for good measure.
