At the end of the day, I still can't put my finger on what caused people to do the things they did. Whether it was some woman playing "frogger" with me in the grocery store aisle to keep her distance (as my brother calls it) or some teenage guy walking by himself on the side of the road with a mask on his face, it's all so bizarre to me. I get the feeling that if I were to really understand it I would become brain damaged or something.
There are lots and lots of plausible and likely influences, most I think we've named. But I can't put myself in the shoes of the people who did this stuff...and are continuing to (my brothers kooky masked mother-in-law, for instance).
Mrs. Kung is a rare one. But I can count on one hand the number of older men who didn't go with the flow. And I'm not sure I would need all fingers.

There are those days when I hear six impossible things before breakfast. Or perhaps at least by lunch. Whether it's the guy on the trail telling me how beavers are a cure for "climate change" or dealing with a customer who wants a list a pronouns on her (almost always a "her") business card, a lot of people are going down that rabbit hole.
And, yes, I certainly save time and aggravation by not even bothering to put on my skeptic's hat. I just know I'm outside the mainstream culture and have accepted it. I can't change it. It's difficult to fight. It's just now an everyday occurrence to be faced with crazy.
So mostly I'm not a skeptic, for that suggests some kind of argumentation or refutation of what is being presented. Mostly these days I just pretend I'm talking to an idiot, and one who will remain an idiot no matter what. I find it best to have as little interaction as possible lest it rub off on me.

I act in much the same way. I am not so much worried that it will rub off on me, rather I simply can't stand listening to idiots' blather. Life is too short and my time on this orb has largely been consumed, so the time I have left is very important to me.

Now if we can just go after them and bankrupt the company for their deadly KFF jabs. Then go after the NIH and Fauci on the same basis. Finally, go after the Dept. of Defense where the damn thing originated. (Just like the KFF virus itself.) Moderna quits vaccines

Allow me to correct that: What have you done to me lately?
I'm sure they can use some of their existing profits to help finance a new virus and start this all over again. I'm sure Fauci's number is in their Rolodex.

This is for Brad. To paraphrase Geraldine/Flip Wilson, "The women made me do it."
When one laughed at drag.

Well, geez...DUH. It's nice to hear someone back of up my viewpoint, but they're basically stating the obvious. Obvious or not, at least she's getting the word out.

Let me paraphrase Orwell:
"In times of universal obtuseness/idiocy, stating the obvious is a revolutionary act."

No kidding. And I don't mean to be hard on Heather McDonald or the writer of this article. Who else but me could have written: And that's putting it nicely.

Really good news about one non-hysterical woman in Texas.

She made the news in a big way when she stood up to the KFF Nazis. Her shop is about three miles from my parents old home. The area is pretty upscale. Not Highland Park, but still a nice area to live in.
Now if they will only go after the scumbags who put her in jail.

Nothing you don't know or haven't heard from me. But someone has written a book about Toxic Empathy. Interestingly, even though this book was written by a woman, there's nothing in this article to suggest that this is mainly a female problem, which I think it clearly is.

Megyn Kelly sounds like a contributor to R&T.

What TDS does to people.
Just one example of what Halperin predicted about the left having a mental breakdown if Trump were elected. More to come.

Holy Toledo. I mean, I don't need the chops of being told I am right. I know I'm right. That was never in question. But, wow, to have a prominent woman like that spell it out succinctly. That really is satisfying.

I can see taking down the wife and ex-girlfriend. But the kids? Well, why not? If you vote Democrat, you are for the extermination of children already. Oh, puh-leeze. It's you who are the religious zealot. You just unfortunately proved it. What a drama queen. "I'm a victim. I'm a victim." What we can say for sure about this sad event is that the ideology of the left is not good for people's mental, spiritual, or psychological health. This is real. I like this comment to the story:

This is the incoming FDA commissioner. In less than 2 minutes he exposes the lies of the Biden Administration on the KFF. God, please bring justice to the criminals who perpetrated the biggest crime in history against the American people and the world. Lies and more lies
