This link and video shows exactly how clueless the French and our conservative talking heads are. France gives the finger to Islam? What the hell are these fools talking about? Did they not look at the cartoons projected on the building? They are not giving the finger to Islam, they are giving the finger to Islam, Christianity and Judaism. Three toilet paper rolls, one with Bible another with Koran and the third with Torah written on them.
I can understand the French doing this as they are trying to pretend they are standing up to Islam, but needed to include the slanders against Christianity and Judaism in order to give the wink and nod to Muslims.
But "The Daily Caller," which is supposedly a conservative sight is where this story came from. And they didn't notice what I pointed out....Are they ignorant or what? Yes they are ignorant and what. (What=dishonest)

I'm not sure. They were displaying a cartoon, and I recall that the magazine was generically anticlerical and atheistic in its targeting. If this was the main cartoon depicting Mohammed, then it would be natural to display the giant replica of it. Your comments would therefore more likely reference Charlie Hebdo rather than Frogland in general.

I believe they displayed three different cartoons. Only one was exclusively of Mohammed. The other two had anti-Christian and anti-Jewish memes.
The teacher who was beheaded was not beheaded by a Christian or Jew. How many Christians and Jews have beheaded people in France lately?

I am clearing off papers from my desk and ran across this saying, which I wrote down sometime last year.
I can't confirm who I took this from, but I believe it was from some Italian philosopher named Nizzoli.

I think Murray has done a good job of defining the problem. However, with out a background in statistics his argument can be hard to follow. Needless to say what he us saying will be taken out of context and he will again be called a racist.

Speaking of wisdom, I was talking to my cousin’s neighbor at the Father’s Day picnic my cousin was hosting. He told the story of a neighbor a couple houses down whose daughter parked directly in front of his garage, blocking him in completely.
His comment is noteworthy: “Typical Millennials.” I said, yeah, I deal with such problems all the time. I said the world seems to be their personal playground where rules of conduct don’t apply.
He seemed a bit of a braggart but said he is now known in the neighborhood as the Parking Nazi. I told him to wear that badge with honor.

I must be really out of date. The idea of parking in a neighbor's driveway without asking has never, and would never, cross my mind. (Frankly, I wouldn't even ask. I would just park in street by the curb.)

Frankly, I wouldn't even ask. I would just park in street by the curb. Spoken like a true son of Texas. Private property is by definition---whats the word, ah private.

People regularly park on my property…right in front of no-parking signs. We need to start a new colony on Mars. The yutes are so utterly immoral, lazy, and entitlement-minded, I don’t think I’d want to live in American in 20 years.

I think you understand why I left the USA in the 1970s. Things were not as bad as they are today, but the signs were there.

What would happen if there were a rash of flat tires? How about tire clamps? I understand that these things must be weighed against possible vandalism.

I don’t think I’d want to live in American in 20 years. I am an American, one branch of my family has been her since 1620s. I will not give up, give out, or give in. I am also a citizen of Israel and I have family there. The best way for me to defend my family in Israel is to do all I can as an American to make sure liberty remains a part of our culture. The world is sucking up for a major war and the US will be a part of it. I only pray that we can recover our moral and ethical balance before it starts.

I leave a sign on any violators that said that they will be towed. Generally people get the message and don’t park there again. Occasionally there are abandoned vehicles. Three times I’ve had cars towed for this. The towing companies require the car to have been there 24 hours. I think the tire-slashing rules are a little more lenient. Believe me, I’ve thought about putting nails under the tires.

Probably so. But feminism has all but wrecked the character of both men and women. China will rule us someday. I don’t like it but the current crop of Progressive nincompoops couldn’t fight their way out of a wet paper bag. Sure, our military still has some teeth but it’s infected by Marxism. We are morally lost. That makes us vulnerable to our enemies. And, in fact, our most serious enemies are inside the gates right now.
I hate to be too pessimistic, but there are several generations so indoctrinated by Cultural Marxism that they can’t see straight. The elders (those who should know better) are content to live out their lives on various entitlements and comforts. They won’t be here to clean up the mess and don’t really care. Among my Dutch friends in The Netherlands, I know this to be the case. And we’re beginning to mirror them.
We should probably turn all our nukes over to Taiwan and Japan. They’ll know better what to do with them.

I was thinking roofing nails would be ideal for the purpose.
