I will look into this. Sounds like the writer is better than Robert Parker, which is welcome in this time of mediocre scribblers. British writers are generally better than their American counterparts.

I haven't bought it yet. I'm still working my way through (off and on) the Rockefeller biography. But it's only about $6.00. And I am in the mood for a good detective novel. And just want to see if this guy's review is good or if he's off the mark. But he sounded pretty reasonable.
