This is a pretty decent heist film from 1973 that can be found for free on the Movieland.TV channel.
Walter Matthau plays a crop duster (and ex circus stunt flyer) whose looking for a little extra cash. So he and a small gang rob an out-of-the-way bank in New Mexico. They come away with way more cash than expected which (including the somewhat botched robbery) leads to complications.
The mob was using this bank intermittently to launder money. Matthau and his gang just happen to hit the wrong bank on the wrong day. But the mob doesn’t believe in such coincidences and pull out all stops to hunt the gang down, thinking this is also an inside job.
Joe Don Baker plays the hired hit man who is after the gang. Matthau then slips from the roll of robber to out-foxer. Lots of fun. As one reviewer wrote, “With Don Siegel directing, this is one movie will provide physical confrontations, dramatic action scenes, destructive mayhem and explosive surprises.”
