Playing on the free Peacock channel is the documentary series, Underground Britain.
In each episode, the presenter, Rob Bell, grabs his hard-hat and takes us on a journey into a varied set of underground places. Often these are caves. But he explores much more than this including a truly fascinating segment on some buried British oil tanks in the north of Scotland. I had no idea something like this existed…and probably neither did most Brits. They are yuge.
It’s a bit plodding as presented (too many re-introductions of what he is doing) but the commercial breaks on Peacock are relatively few and short. Generally this series is very no-nonsense and you will learn some fascinating bits of history as well as see some marvelous scenery in Great Britain. Highly recommend.
