That’s interesting and the first I’ve ever heard of it. I’d put this guy in the category of “Brother from a different mother.”
Very well put by Cole.
That attitude matches exactly the kind of spooky superstition of the tribes of New Guinea that I read in a book recently. It’s this very weird and detailed assigning of motives to inanimate objects. If my father would fart, he might say something like "Who stepped on a frog?" But we never assumed he was talking literally. There may be real difference between the way some of the races parse reality.
And yet look at all the stupid white people who believe in "climate change." So I guess glass houses, stones, and all that.

The difference is that we are regressing. We shouldn't be going back to our jungle days.

I’m okay with saying that there are some intrinsic differences in the races but that the biggest slice of the pie concerning differences are cultural.
I sometimes think the regressing we are doing is to a Rousseauian child-like state of the comforting womb where all dangers are gone and we are being nurtured and protected.
It sure does seem that at the core of many objections to reality is that people refuse to see that nature in the raw can be very hard and ugly. But I think that child-like craving exists for those who believe shoe-less Indians should not be criticized. How dare we believe that shoes are an advance. It was all so perfect before technology and profit ruined things (The Fall, according to atheists).
I remember my brother’s youngest son when his diaper was being changed or he needed to take off his clothes to get into his pajamas. As soon as he was down to his birthday suit he would skedaddle and run around in rapt pleasure, naked as a jaybird.
I think this gets to the heart of the child-like cravings of the Left. They want to return to a time of child-like innocence, comfort, and before the world itself became complicated.

They just had a very nice "midnight hero" on FNC. It seems that a Chik-fil-A worker cleaning up the place at day's end found an envelope with $900 in it. He put it in a safe place and when the women who misplaced it returned in tears, she was no doubt surprised as well as pleased to get it back.

This type of thing happened, and I hope still happens, more than you might think. I have had a couple of things returned to me after, in a fit of inattentiveness, I left them someplace. But it boosts my, rather negligible, faith in mankind to hear of such kindness and honesty.

Things are getting very strange in American politics. Matthews: Vote for Trump?Chris Matthews is getting very jumpy about Uncle Bernie's momentum in the Dim primaries. It would appear he sees perhaps a third of Dims voting for Trump should Uncle Bernie win. I hope he is correct, but I want to see the battle between the commie Bernie and ultra capitalist Bloomberg first. It might just blow the Dims apart with the crazy 2/3rds, which are leftist loons, taking over the party thus leaving the 1/3 or so relatively sane people without a place to hang their hats. This group wouldn't even have to vote for Trump. All they would have to do for Trump to smash Uncle Bernie is to stay home on November 3rd.

Flash! This is Joe Biden's new campaign song for Dim primary voters.
Perhaps I should expand it to include Fauxcahontas, Buttgig and Clobberer. Hell, maybe it will become the Dim's theme song for the general election.

Well, whoever finally ends up the nomination won't need to play solitaire. He could always play any of numerous 2-card games with his running mate. Incidentally, a while back I played the Paul Shanklin CD that included a parody of "Flowers on the Wall".
Actually, having any genuine moderate Demagogues not vote would be the best solution. That way they won't be tempted to vote for other Demagogues who still pretend not to be socialists.

It appears that Netanyahu has finely won is is about to win a majority and will be able to form a government. This is good news for the Mid East and good news for the US. The instability of the last year can be put to rest and our enemies put on notice that Israel will deal with them only from a position of strength. Netanyahu has been attacked, often by both sides at the same time on different issues and prevailed, as has DJT over the last three years. We can hope that a decisive victory in November will at least, quiet the progressives, in Israel and here.

Actually, the article KFZ linked to seems to indicate 59 seats for the Netanyahu coalition and 61 for everyone else, though they may not be able to unite. Perhaps Bibi can form a minority government if it's that close. But they may not have exited the tunnel yet even if they see the light at its end.

This article notes that he will "form a unity government with Blue and White." I'm not sure who they are, but if you already have nearly 50%, it doesn't take much. They could form an alliance with the guy in the phone booth. Maybe one of those Monty Pythonesque outlier parties such as The Silly Party or The Slightly Silly Party. I think an alliance with the mauve or royal-blue party might be more stylish. But you do what you gotta do.

Blue and White is the other major party. This might be bad news for the minor parties in the Netanyahu coalition.

If you think about it, what a thankless job to be Prime Minister of Israel. I’m sure Bibi is not short on ego. But I don’t think you could do the job effectively without a healthy and profound sense of destiny.

Bibi is PM of a nation of PMs. Every decision he makes, good or bad, is going to be questioned, analyzed and examined by people who think they can do the job better which, in the case of Israel means every Jew in Israel and anywhere in the world. Kibbitzing is our national pastime.

From where I'm sitting, if the "moderates" (let alone the "center-left") gained the majority, Israel would be significantly closer to extinction via handing the sword to their enemies. It doesn't seem to me that the country is in a situation where they can entertain dreamy notions about the deadly enemies who surround them.

I do mean this sincerely: I don't know who is more evil and deranged, the Communists or these wackos such as Bill Kristol. He's endorsed Joe Biden. Seriously. Rush had a great bit on these assholes. He was talking about how the Democrat establishment was throwing themselves behind Biden because they didn't want to be put out of the power loop just as Trump did to establishment pseudo-Republicans such as Jonah Goldberg.
Bravo. Well said.

Billy the Kid, Jennifer RubItIn, Max Bootless, and other such Beltway Bandit conservatives (mostly neocons, I suspect) have thrown away what they claimed to believe in, much as David "I'm a liar, trust me" Brock did previously. But their futures are dim, since the left only sees them as good turncoats in an election, and they will no longer have that value now that they've so totally betrayed their past beliefs.

It is one thing to have a change of mind and take positions you formally favored or opposed, Kristal and others could have taken this approach and remained relevant in conservative circles. However, they have taken the position that everything DJT says or does is either demented, evil or disingenuous, generally all three. In taking the position of "orange man bad" they have sacrificed their credibility with people whose single desire is the end of hostile government in DC and state houses around the country.
There is a lot we can live with and tolerate, but government for government sake is not one of them. Kristal and company should have instinctively known that, but the failure of their agenda with the G W. Bush administration and the election of the profit from Hawaii has blinded them to the realities of today, and now they have discovered, to their horror, that they are irrelevant.
