Further proof that the American medical system is in the grasp of Marxists, criminals and the insane. Public should pay for transgender uterus transplant I love the line about the AMA saying.... transgender women’s inability to bear children may cause “psychological dissonance,” undermining their health and well-being.For heaven's sake. The dissonance demonstrated in the first few seconds of the below video, is nothing compared to that which already inhabits the psyche' of virtually all transgenders. That cannot be removed by adding a uterus. Perhaps electro-shock therapy might work. Maybe this is a better example. I found it both hilarious and insightful. A treasure of a twofer.

Love this comment:
In short, the AMA cannot be trusted now on any subject.

They are simply one among many on a long list of American institutions which have been taken over by the left.

I'm officially a part of the entitlement crowd now. But then, if you are born in America, it is unavoidable. With the help of a provider, I signed up with Aetna's SmartFit Plan. I've went without any form of health insurance except for a brief period (a couple years) when I signed up for a plan with a client of mine. But that was just before the period when "health care" costs exploded. And "health care" indeed needs the scare quotes because it wasn't better medicine that was driving the costs. Anyway, I signed up now because signing up later to Medicare (anything past Part A) costs more as the months go by. And given I'm not getting any younger, a plan like this at least caps the out-of-pocket costs (about $6800.00). That means if something happens (grizzly bear attack), I wouldn't totally wipe out what savings I do have. It's $174.00/mo. And, in a couple years (3 at the most), I'll get Social Security and (I assume) this cost can just be automatically deducted.

Welcome to the club.
Most of the Medicare suppliment plans are in that range and the coverage is pretty much the same. The biggie, at least for me is meds. If you don't take much in the way of meds the yearly hole in benefits won't affect you, however, if you take meds with a large co-pay the about October coverage for the "donut hole" can be troublesome.
