Here is a piece like none I have ever encountered. This Egyptian Christian priest uses Islamic texts against Islam. He goes so far as to openly call Allah, Satan. I am amazed. Eighty seven years old and still going strong. Fr. Zakaria |

I am amazed. Eighty seven years old and still going strong. I am more amazed that for 87 he has managed to avoid being murdered. We all know that Islam is political ideology wrapped in religious garb. It has more in common with the National Socialist German Workers Party than any religious movement. It is not news, Americans as far back as Thomas Jefferson were able to see through the happy face to the snarling beast behind. Even the Rus, who in the 9th century encountered Islam saw the inherent evil in Islam. Islam, past and present is a stain on the lives of men. It is the most despised of religions. I refuse to give it status as a religion of peace or as an offshoot of the children of Abraham. |

This is where I ask, "Tell me what you really think about Islam, Artler."
The bizarre thing is, if you are college-educated, there's about a 95% chance you believe Islam is the "religion of peace." You will also believe that Islam saved the West from the Dark Ages. You will believe that Christians were the aggressors during the Crusades (rather than responding to Islamic aggression). You will believe all kinds of politically correct stuff. And thus you will have been immunized against recognizing evil.
Had the Nazis not been defeated, and if it was a thousand years hence, Islam is the sort of remnants of evil that you could expect would still exist. Maybe Nazism no longer would be a specific nation or territory but, like Islam, would exist as a caustic supremacist ideology that was at war with civilized human beings wherever it went.
Islam is indeed a stain on the lives of men. You can't make peace with it (and appeasement isn't peace). You can only try to destroy it wherever it suffocates the earth.

"Tell me what you really think about Islam, Artler." Well, I try to hold back for fear my friends might think it is just personal. My tolerance only goes so far with an ideology that tramples on the human spirit, freedoms, and murders women and children in the name of a despotic pseudo-profit who rapes 9 year old girls. So, yes I have a hard place in my heart for Islam. I don't like them enough to hate them just destroy all they represent. |
