This is an amusing article I found at Taki’s Magazine: Meghan Markle: CIA Asset?I don’t follow the Royal Soap Opera that used to be known as “The British Monarchy.” But once in a while an interesting viewpoint arises, usually one that contains few surprises but is interesting nonetheless. Harry obviously married into his religion: Leftism. No, he didn’t marry a blue-blooded English virgin which was his historical duty. But he didn’t at least stray outside his religion. That’s the disturbing thing that even these pampered princes succumb to this cultural rot. And it sounds as if they are getting everything they deserved. Meghan might make Diana seem like a reasonable person. England is much destroyed and continues to rot from within. That the head is rotting is surprising. You’d think if there were holdouts, they would be members of the royal family. Not so. They are marching “forward” to the Leftist nonsense — even leading it now — and don’t seem to care that it means their own extinction.

I must admit that I had not heard of Meghan Markle before her relationship with Prince Harry. But there is precedent for such a thing in the royal family.
Edward VIII had a scandalous affair with an equally notorious witch by the name of Wallis Simpson. By marrying her, he was forced to abdicate and become merely the Duke of Windsor. He and his Duchess, were pretty much shunned by the royal family. Apparently, Queen Elizabeth's mother would have nothing to do with them and kept them out of the U.K. as much as possible.
Harry is in no such lofty position and the odds that he ever would be are very slim. So his nuptials with Miss Markle are of very little import.
One must have a little sympathy with Harry as he is something of the proverbial "red-headed stepchild." One merely has to look at a photo of that young Captain who was, I believe, Diana's aide-de-camp to see Harry's true antecedents. To grow up having this on daily display must have been difficult.
Much more important is the fact that the next in line is the nutty Prince of Wales, Charles. He is a royal who inserts his opinions into political discourse, much too readily. Luckily, it looks like Elizabeth II is still going strong and Charles may end up in a similar position to that of Edward VII who was on the throne for only about nine years.

Harry reminds me of the saying that we all tend to build our own purgatories.

I don't believe I have heard that one before. Ain't it this truth.

Well I sure as hell didn't make it up! Wonder if that came from Bones on Star Trek, now that I think of it.
