Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
Wife and I went to see, hopefully, the last installment of this series. All the elements were there, car chases, Nazis, supersaturate events, time travel and irritating kids. It all seemed like another theme park ride. The computer graphics were very good, if not a little creepy. Harrison Ford is toned back to his halcyon days instead of the old guy he really is and the flashbacks are a little jarring at times.
The movie starts off in our times with Jones as a tired old professor about to retire. He is the typical, get off my lawn, old guy. Half of the Archimedes wheel has been entrusted to his care and is stolen from him. The adventure follows a predictable line with everyone who has ever been in an Indiana Jones movie involved.
If you enjoy two hours of action and nostalgia, then this will fill the bill. Get a big box of popcorn and a drink, likely to cost as much as the movie tickets, sit back and just go with it. This is not the worst of the franchise. Temple of Doom was by far the worst, and it is not the best. Raiders of the lost Ark was the best, with Last Crusade as a second. This is like the last Star Wars movie as much nostalgia as story. Enjoy it for fun, but don’t ever believe it is in any way serious.

This is the only review I've read of this movie where the reviewer wasn't coughing up blood. Although your review is fairly mild, I still think this is one I'm going to skip.
