Review Raymate wireless speaker
I purchased one of these about two months ago from Amazon, $29.95. I was surprised at the quality of sound it produced. The speaker is about 7 inches long 2 inches high and 2 inches deep. It is wireless connecting via Bluetooth to your phone. The connection is smooth and very easy to set up. The sound quality is excellent. While not comparable to large bookshelf speakers like Altec it superior to wired speakers of a much higher price. The Bass is solid, and the higher regions are clear. Yes, it is battery operated, but will run directly off a USB charger so you can take it outside and it’s waterproof in case it rains. The battery is strong enough to last an evening or for a party in the back yard. I believe two can be connected but as, yet I haven’t purchased another unit to try that feature out. This speaker should be in everyone’s grab and go bag.

It's still a good deal. You sold me. One is on order. Your Amazon commission should be in the mail.

I will await my commission check. I'm sure Jeff Bazos will personally sign it. I have a boat pick out in the Hamptons for vacation, and a mansion in Santa Cruz on call. I think you will find it's a great little speaker.

It should arrive tomorrow. I have a very small Bluetooth speaker hooked up to my XP machine. My nephews gave it to me many years back so it has sentimental value. But I wouldn't mind upgrading the sound.

Santa Bezos just visited my home. In this case, rather than coming down the chimney, he left the packages at the back door (we were momentarily out of the office). I charged the Rainman up and paired it with my new/old MacBook Pro. You haven't seen this one before and I don't think I talked about it. I got it for $300.00 on eBay when we were talking about meeting at Mr. Flu's house. Although I wasn't sure if I was going, I knew I'd have to take my office with me if I did. This 13" MacBook Pro is from the same era (although slightly newer) than my mid-2011 27"iMac. That means I can take a clone of my entire system (copied onto an external Thunderbolt drive), plug it into the MacBook Pro, and have the exact system, programs, data, old email messages, etc., at my fingertips. Well, the KFF intervened and I couldn’t have come even if I had decided to. But I knew this MacBook Pro could serve ably as a backup machine for the iMac 27". It's in pretty good shape and even the battery is fairly new. I wiped the system software and started new on it but looked at was on it already. And from looking at all the various Bluetooth mice (over a hundred of them) that had been connected to it, this had to have been used in a classroom environment. And you would thus expect it to have been really beat to hell but this is not the case. So I wonder just what kind of school would have a MacBook Pro like this available in a classroom and not have it beat to hell. A mystery. So here is that new Rainman sitting over the top of the MacBook Pro. It does sound fairly good, within reason, although positioning makes a difference. And it definitely needs the equalizer adjusted to get the most out of it. In fact, in my experience with these type of Bluetooth speakers, it's good to put them on some kind of slightly resonating surface such as a wooden shelf or table. The first test of the sound was with the only music I had on this MacBook Pro: Billy Joel's Piano Man. Right this moment Captain Jack is getting high tonight.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that pairing with it was completely easy. I didn't have to hit a button on the Rainman. I just opened Bluetooth preferences on the computer and it showed it there as I device I could connect to. Most Bluetooth stuff is a pain in the ass. This one, at least first time out, was super easy.
