This is a forum titled "Calendar Events." You can create a thread and then choose "Add Event" to add something to the calendar. We haven't used it much but have at it. It's there.

That is one yuge complex. I will set aside my pessimism for now. But, geez, I'm nothing compared to the comments section at Breitbart. The rank-and-file isn't buying it. However, I see no harm in it as long as the UAE is not building pretty buildings with the right hand while feeding the Islamic beast with donations with the left.

I just looked at the photos. Did not read any comments. I think the architecture is beautiful and very fitting for a desert locale. Note the layout. At the bottom is the synagogue and sprouting from it are the mosque and church. Very symbolic. ------------------ Something else in the Middle East which I found interesting. Shiloh

75 years ago the very idea of a joint religious center in any Moslem country would be thought outrageous heresy. 50 years ago, someone could mention it in the dead of night if he were alone. 25 years ago it could be talked about but no one would believe it. Only since Trump pushed through reproachment could this happen. The Saudis are the last big Moslem nation to make peace and that may soon come regardless of the Biden Administration. All of this is a positive, but I harbor an innate distrust of our Moslem neighbors. If they quit pursuing violence then there will be the peace. If we give up our military superiority there will be bloodshed. Until that dynamic changes, "trust but verify"

Human nature does not change, so I believe the "trust but verify" motto should always be in operation. In fact, I believe a better motto would be, "operate as if you can't trust any of them and keep an eye on everyone." Relations between nations ain't like playing badminton.
