On a per capita basis of the entire population Blacks produce the most criminals. This is a hard fact for leftists to deal with since the 60s Blacks have been a part of the population given the most advantages by the Great society and other welfare. The leftist theory should go Blacks are disadvantaged give them more opportunity and the disparity between the races will disappear. The last 60 years has proven that wrong. In every category Blacks are in worse shape than 60 years ago; abortion- some 60% of Black babies are aborted in democrat cities. Marriage, of those who get married two of three end in divorce, Black incarceration rate is there highest in the nation and on and on.
We can, however, look back a little further and find that before, during WWII and into the 50s. Most Blacks voted Republican and viewed the Democrat as the party of racism, these statistics, although, somewhat higher than the White or Asian populations were dramatically lower than today. What happened? Leftists fixed the problem with massive welfare and the soft bigotry of low expectations. Three generations of Black families, I use family term loosely, have been told you are not good enough on your own and only the government can help you. It should not be wonder that so many Black men and women have turned to crime. The wonder should be that more haven't.

Don't bother reading this. Please don't. It will lower your I.Q. A review of a Marvel movie is not something I would wish upon my friends. But it's funny that this fellow is shocked, shocked that Marvel movies aren't any good. What's my point? I'm not sure I have one. But if you're going to a Disney/Marvel movie (especially one directed by the yugely overrated Sam Raimi) then please don't tell me you are surprised that it sucked. This review has the feeling of a teenager waking up in the morning at somebody else's house, puke on the front of his shirt, and people (and beer cans) laying all over. He suddenly has the realization that he doesn't want to be here and there must be something better he can do with his life. I know we should encourage such moments, even by supposed professional writers such as Brandon (that name's a dead giveaway) Morse. We should hold their hand as they make their way from Goofballville to the world of intelligence, good taste, and good manners. Still, I can't help rolling my eyes a bit when someone discovers something that is as plain as day to me and you.

I see Ted Cruz has come around to my way of responding to the left. I wish he would do more of this, particularly in the Senate. You morons

Now if we could just wind up Donald Trump and have him both talk-the-talk and walk-the-walk. I give Cruz credit for the appropriately harsh words though. But we need to quick playing rope-a-dope with these people and go on the offensive rather than just reacting.

100% agree. Calling out the lies of the left, and not allowing them to frame the narrative are important things. But more important is having policies which counter the left and people/organizations to promote and impose those policies. The Republican Party has been less-than stellar in this regard.

The Republican Party has been less-than stellar in this regard. Less than stellar? The GOP has sold their virtue so many times that calling them whores is an insult to an entire profession. Yet, we are stuck with them. The alternative is lesser quality candidates who do not understand the issues or are simply looking for a free ride on the government sloops train. Of course, most democrats are the same. Every two years we pile our hopes on a few who promise to oppose the tyranny trap and every two years we are disappointed. Just like Charlie Brown, Lucy keeps pulling the football out.

I am beginning to wonder if the alternative is actually worse. Here is more proof of the complicity in criminal insanity of our betters. This includes Biden, Pelosi, McConnell & friends. Both parties and their masters are responsible. Marshall Plan for The Ukraine Just what this country needs. Have a look at equities now. Target and Walmart are both down about 20% today!!! The bond market is horrible, while the price of housing is going up and applications for mortgages are going down. Actual inflation is closer to 20% than 7% or 8%. Where is Tom Clancy when you need him?

A good example of why our GNP is hugely overstated. 80% of our economy is "service oriented," i.e. doesn't produce much of anything. Girls just want to have fun

There are many arguments for the 2nd Amendment. This one is, in its essence, one of the best. americanmind.org/salvo/armed-society/Clearly, we can no longer rely on law enforcement to secure the public square. Faced with these facts, we can either continue to sheepishly entrust our lives and property to a negligent steward while praying that fate doesn’t re-cast us as victims, or we can reclaim that responsibility for ourselves. When threats arise, they can and must be met with a robust and organic response by the people themselves.
An older America understood that while there may be official government entities tasked with promoting domestic tranquility, the duty of ensuring public safety in a self-governing republic ultimately rests upon the people. To this end, we would be remiss to believe that our Second Amendment right ends at its mere expression, that it does nothing more than make a claim against the State. As noted by James Wilson in his famous Lectures on Law, “to each class of rights, a class of duties is correspondent.” It is not enough that an individual claims a negative right against the community; the community, in turn, reserves a positive claim against the individual, in the exercise of his rights, in the form of civic duties.
Melancton Smith, writing as the Federal Farmer, “to preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them.”

Children do not need to protect themselves. Progressivism is turning over to the state the normal duties of an adult. They rely on the state. That didn't work out too well in Uvalde. There's no reason to suspect that the political movement that has a hard time recognizing and dealing with evil is trustworthy with a monopoly on power. Delusion fills in all the cracks in logic for them. It will all work out if they just believe and keep their carbon footprint small.

I thought this video gave a good look behind the scenes at YouTube and other "reviewers." I've watched this guy's videos before and he's generally not full of bullshit. Yes, his singling out of Fox News is biased and ignorant. Even so, the dynamic he talks about certainly applies to them as well.

This is how a cowboy and his horse handle an emergency. Yippie-kaye-ohA standard leftist (I don't want to imagine a PETA nut) would have called in a social worker or shrink to analysis the trauma the young bull had experienced. They would have tried to convince the bull that the cages were there for his protection. They would have told the crowd to let the bull trample them if he came their way as if they tried to escape, the bull would take this as rejection which would further add to his emotional problems. He was already worried about whether his pronouns should be he/him or it/it as he was well aware that Rocky Mountain Oysters were making a come back.

Nice cowboy work by the guy in the white hat. Interesting how they split the fence and just dragged the bull through.
Clearly in this case the bull was identifying as a spectator and just wanted to be over on the other side of the fence.

What to do, what to do.
We have talked considerably about the problems facing our country in 2022. Indeed, they are many and complicated, election fraud, crime, illegal immigration, drugs, corruption in government agencies, and energy. On the foreign front, the war in Ukraine, Russian expansion, Chinese threats to Taiwan, a nuclear armed N. Korea, and a nuclear armed Iran.
It should be apparent that Joe Biden is incapable of addressing all, if any, of these problems. We already look back on the four years of President Trump with nostalgia. The above problems did not go away during 2017 – 2021. So, what did we get from the Trump Administration?
Trump did not solve any of these problems, however, he did admit that they existed, and he made some small inroads two bringing down the severity of the problems. Cities and states still declared themselves sanctuary and expanded during his administration, drug use and sales increased, crime in the cities did not get better, the swamp continued to undermine his administration, and our adversaries merely held back on their expansionist agenda.
What will it take to bring common sense back to our country? In 1832 South Carolina declared that they could nullify federal law and tariffs. President Andrew Jackson sent troops to the border and assured the government of S. Carolina that he would invade. Is it likely that any US President today is willing to send federal troops into any state or city to force compliance with federal law? If so, who?
We have millions of illegal immigrants in this country. President Trump did build a wall and bring this problem down, but he did little about the millions already here. The apparent answer is to send them home. Anyone who cannot prove their status as a legal immigrant, regardless of place of birth most be deported. If voluntarily leaving they are eligible for legal immigrant status. If the government must deport them, they may never come back.
The wall will be finished, only immigrants coming through legal checkpoints will be admitted. The border must be patrolled by our military. If Mexico continues to refuse to control the drug cartels American troops, Army Rangers, Marine Recon, and SEALS will do it for them. This includes incursions into Mexico and killing Mexican nationals who present a threat. Don’t hold your breath waiting for any American President to do that.
And then there is the swamp. Not only is the FBI corrupt, but also every agency must be scrubbed of career bureaucrats and rebuilt from the ground up. The critical departments of State and Defense must be stripped of lifers and new diplomates and commanding officers placed in charge, knowing that if they screw up, they will be fired. Along with seizing control of nullification states and cities, the new administration must refund police and enforce the law and imprison offenders. Don’t hold your breath waiting for any president to do that.
To bring our government back under civilian control we must dramatically expand the function of the government. We must ignore constitutional rights and elect a Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus or George Washington. It will be a terrible time with few opportunities to restrain a, hopefully, soft tyranny in place of the tyranny we are now facing. Where is such a man or woman?

Good thoughts, Victor Davis Artler. I have the distinct feeling that any fundamental change (contrary to what is going on now...which is, of course, "fundamental change") will come externally.
Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan transformed America from a sleeping giant to an active and well-armed one...and one truly ready to make the world (or parts of it) safe for democracy.
Most of us are bums, lightweights, moochers, leaches, Snowflakes, religious fanatics, or liars. America cannot be cured from within because we are so corrupted. Almost every resource now goes toward propping up the lawless and the shiftless.
We are a non-serious culture that can only be made serious again through an external and serious threat to our very existence.
Short of that, we will continue to slide into this maternal quagmire of "nicey-nice" that accepts all kinds of unreal and bizarre ideas simply because it keeps women working and men in at least mental shackles.

This is a perfect example of what I mean. The lying Ukrainian government puts out this rubbish and many seem to believe it. In truth those who do have completely lost the plot, as the Brits say. Of course, the lying British press promotes this nonsense even though they know it is false. I shot down a Su-34 By the way, the weapon the man holds up at the end of the video looks like a 12 gauge shotgun.

By the way, the weapon the man holds up at the end of the video looks like a 12 gauge shotgun. I agree, it is a mossberg 12 gage or one similar. Unless the Russian was flying at 100 yards or less and verrrrrry slowwwww it is very unlikely that gun shot it down, even if it were loaded with 200 grain slug. About the only way it could maybe bring down a jet is if the shot got into the engine intake and damaged the turbine, chances are one in a million. Nope, don't believe it one bit.
