I am a big promoter of people expressing their opinions. I don't even mind uninformed opinions if given by ignorant or not-very-bright people. But it is something of a pet peeve with me when intelligent people use false, dishonest or dubious information to back up their opinions. Such was the case with Hume's "opinion" thus my response. In any case, for reasons I previously laid out, I think his opinion stinks. You think otherwise so we have a difference of opinion. No problem for me.

Sidney Powell's Twitter response to Trump legal team's Twitter.
She was suspended from Twitter for 12 hours for some reason.
As I said yesterday, I have always thought Powell's suit would be much to big to effect the present situation. I believe she is going for something even larger, i.e. to show the complete corruption which infects much of our bureaucratic and political system. If I am correct, this will go on long after the January inauguration.
I still say, let's see where this goes. I do not let the media litigate lawsuits and try not to get caught up in the frenzy of social media, click-bate culture. I have never had much trust in the media, at the best of times, and have even less today.
No doubt, the Trump team and some of those trying to help them have made mistakes or not been running tight ships. That said, there is a huge amount of information out there that is being collected and this takes time to collect and understand.
Most people seem to mistake the efforts of many disparate groups, organizations and people working in various ways to show election fraud, as being coordinated by the Trump legal team. This is not the case. That is possibly a problem, but it is also potentially a plus as there is no way the Trump team could pay for all the work being done. The key is gathering this information, insuring it is correct, analyzing it and getting it in a form which can be used in a law suit to Trump's advantage. This is no small effort.

The cartoon at the bottom -- Trump as the sun shining on a banshee brigade of the famous screaming woman -- certainly was most amusing. As for the rest, we'll see. Powell has said she has the evidence, so she should start showing it in court soon.

I agree, but she had damn well better have all her ducks in a row when she does. If that takes a few more days, I don't care. That said, I would love it to come out on Monday or Tuesday.

An excellent video of Greg Kelly at Newsmax. He has a different take on Carlson and Powell. He also gives some clarity on the news media and the Murdochs.

A two minute video which sums things up nicely. We are not crazy and we are about ready to leave the Republican Party.
I have run across Jack fairly often lately. He is not stupid, having be a naval intelligence officer who speaks fluent Mandarin.

In her Newsmax interview on Sunday, Sidney Powell said she expected to start filing suits on Wednesday, more likely Friday, of this week. She says she is going to file suits across several states.
She clearly mentioned that Governor Kemp and Secretary of State Raffensperger, as well as family members should be under investigation for possible bribes regarding the purchase of the Dominion Voting System.
Again, I am convinced she is doing her best to goad Dominion and various politicians to sue her for libel. I just listened to a lawyer who agrees with me. It is a very risky strategy unless she has a lot of information supporting her case. But the strategy has put Dominion and others in a lose-lose situation. If Dominion and the politicians sue her, she can ask for discovery which will give her access to even more information than she has now. She may now have strong partial information, but discovery would give her more info to complete the investigation. If they don't sue her, they look guilty.
As we know, Dominion has already shut up and lawyered up. They expect some legal action against them, no doubt.

A good piece at the American Thinker which explains why people can be so resistant to believing fraud, but why the present fraud will finally come out.

There are still a few close races out. Two are in California, where Republicans hold narrow leads against Demagogue incumbents, but apparently there are somehow still votes to add. Another is in Iowa, where a recount is in progress in IA 2, with the Republican holding a tiny lead. Another is in Louisiana, but it involves a run-off between a pair of Republicans, so the partisan balance won't be affected by it.
And there's NY 22, in which previous occupant Claudia Tenney holds a tiny lead (just over 100 votes) against the Demagogue who unseated her (barely) in 2018. Apparently all the votes have been counted except for several thousand disputed absentee ballots, which a local judge is going to study. But there's the slight problem that no one knows which of those ballots have been counted and which not. (The obvious solution would be a new election between Tenney and Brindisi.) The link is:

There are still a few close races out.
I checked Politico's page last night and it showed the following races which had not been called:
NY 2nd Rep 56.7 Dem 42.6 100% of vote in
NY 1st Rep 61.3 Dem 38.7 100% of vote in
NY 24th Rep 55.1 Dem 41 100% of vote in
NY 22nd Rep 50.8 Dem 47
NY 11th Rep 57.9 Dem 42.1 100 % of vote in
Iowa 2nd Rep 50 Dem 50 actual vote count 196,862 R 196,815 D
La 5th Run off between Reps
Ca 25th Rep 50.1 Dem 49.9 votes outstanding
Ca 21st Rep 50.5 Dem 49.5 votes outstanding
Overall, it looks good for Reps. It looks like 209 is the minimum number of seats they will have in the House. I guess the final number will be 211-212.

Most sources have called 4 of the 5 New Woke races, which have big GOP leads with all votes counted. In some of them, the Demagogue has conceded.

After I saw the numbers last night, I would have also called 4 of the 5 already. I couldn't see why Politico had not yet called them, but then again, it is Politico.

I posted this in reply to an article by Michael Brown: Christian Friends, Remember: There is Only One Messiah. I expected to get creamed so I don’t plan on reading any responses, if any: My position on Trump has always been that he’s a bum and a demagogue — but better than Hillary…or Biden. Trump has a good list of important accomplishments. But as the leader of the free world, he’s a train wreck. But even this train wreck is better than the planet-killing asteroid of the Democrat mob. A man who has been attacked unmercifully and unfairly by the media and the Democrats (one and the same) is due some type of loyalty. People who are being pulled out of a burning car are not immediately concerned about the character issues of the one doing the pulling. If this article by Brown is off the mark it is because he’s framed the question in a way that suits him. Yes, of course, it’s not particularly healthy to see the various snowflakes on the right go apoplectic regarding even the barest hint of criticism of Trump. And that is what you’ll find at the bottom of the articles that dare offer even mild criticism. Anyone who doesn’t feel a little chagrined by the verbal treatment that Tucker Carlson has been given by the Trump mob has bigger issues than recognizing the Messiah. We’ve been given a choice between this useful bum-demagogue of Trump and what is basically now the Communist Party USA. Trump has likely disgraced himself beyond repair with this dishonest charade of alleged widespread and coordinated fraud. I’m torn between whether this is about his bruised ego or whether it’s just a way to fundraise. Why choose? It’s probably both. To throw a bone to Mr. Brown, I had my fill four years ago of Christian friends willfully overlooking the many flaws of this man and using the excuse that “God uses even flawed men for His purposes.” To me, that signaled exactly what has happened and is happening now: This bum of a man, this man-child president, is warping many people to call good bad and bad good by conforming to his standards of conduct and truthfulness. It was a remarkable thing four years ago that I could not find any agreement among Trump supporters that the proper stance was to hold your nose and vote Trump. I guess it’s just human nature that if one is going to support someone to turn all their little devils into angels, to inflate them into something they are not. I would hold my nose four years from now and vote for Trump is that is the binary choice we are offered. But never would I suppose he’s either a particularly good man, let alone a Messiah. But given the binary choices we have been given, the adage that applies is not misplaced Messiah complex but: “When one is up to one’s ass in alligator’s, it’s easy to forget that the original purpose was to drain the swamp.” Given that our enemy is a group of people who hold Stalin dear, we need to put even Trump’s flaws in perspective. But if we get to the point where we are blind to those flaws and normalize them, then we’re no better than the evil that is, in my opinion, the Democrat Party.

As of now, there has been no response to your posting. In fact, it was still the most recent posting, and thus listed first (I sort by newest).

That’s the first time I’ve replied to an article in a couple years. But it was in the area of “Someone’s got to say it.”
