I'm not that absolutely bowled over by the music for The Lord of the Rings. But I do consider the following one of the best pieces of theme music written in the last 20 years. When referring to the Shire in the movies, this music was a perfect accompaniment.
“Even the smallest person can change the course of the future” - Galadriel

And if you ever wondered why battling the Left is a noble task, even if Sauron seems ascendant...
Frodo : I can't do this, Sam.
Sam : I know. It's all wrong By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were, and sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy. How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad happened. But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they didn’t. Because they were holding on to something.
Frodo : What are we holding on to, Sam?
Sam : That there’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it’s worth fighting for.

I'm about halfway through the first of The Hobbit movies. I now know why I don't think highly of them:
1) Martin Freeman is truly a horrible bit of casting as Bilbo.
2) Although the original novel was certainly something children might want to read, it wasn't a children's book, no more than The Lord of the Rings was a children's book. But this Hobbit trilogy is clearly aimed at the 12-year-old market. It's little more than Snow White and the Seven Dwarves with a veneer of Tolkien.
There is only one reasonably compelling character in this: Gandalf. The rest are throw-away caricatures from a Disney movie.

Love that graphic, Mr. Flu.
That article didn't specifically say if Nike's racist policies (aka "Woke," but let's call it what it is) had anything to do with the downturn. We can only hope.

I give credit to John Nolte who also noted that Crystal Skull was a dog.
Yep. I noted that loud and clear early. And I'm in the same position as Nolte. People are catching up to me. I said that Star Wars I, II, and III were dogs. And there ain't a species of mutt that can describe what came after.
Perhaps one day they will build a statue to me, the man who first realized that Marvel Comic Movies (with the exception of a couple) are Dogs.
Apologies for the video. I don't know what got into me.
As for Disney, they don't mind grooming kids. But at least they don’t (yet) overtly support the sexual use and abuse of children. That's something. Not much. But it's something. I love how Breitbart correctly refers to Disney as "groomers."
How about a convicted pedophile as the new Disney CEO? They might as well jump straight to the end of their story and leave out the middlemen.
We'd love to see these backlashes against Bud Light, Disney, Planet Fitness, and others take on even more teeth than they do. But at least it's something.

Yep.
We'll be watching he headlines for more DEI-caused disasters.
This guy would make a hell of a replacement for Rush Limbaugh. Let's get him a microphone.
Outstanding article.

Another bridge hit and another large ship loses power. But don't say "DEI," conservatives. No no no. No doubt each incident has its details. But it's safe to bet that basic incompetence was one of the details. One also wonders how many accidents are caused by DWM (driving while Mexican). It's pretty well known, for instance, with law enforcement and emergency aid workers that DWA (driving while Asian) is a real phenomenon.

I just saw Scott Adams', of Dilbert fame, interpretation of DEI. DIDN'T EARN IT.
It is well know in Texas that because of the huge number of illegal alien Latinos driving without licenses and insurance, that rates here are much higher than they otherwise would be. I have had insurance agents confirm this to me in the past.
DWA is something which I experienced for some 20 years. In fact, I have experienced it from Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, Hongkongers, Singaporeans, Malaysians, Indonesians, Philippinos, Thais and Indians. There were not so many cars in Burma, Bangladesh or Vietnam when I visited those countries, so DWA was not so noticeable.
