I do know that the Leftists/Communists behind them will use whatever means is available to cause unrest. Maybe the pretext is race in one country. Maybe it's anti-nukes in another. Maybe it's "save the planet" environmentalism elsewhere. But the one thing in common is to gather the useful idiots to advance your cause.
People have forgotten, or never knew, that the USA was flooded with communists in the 1920s. On the one hand, the Bolsheviks sent spies and moles to America in order to weaken it and steal as much technology and information as possible. Second, the various cliques which disagreed with Stalin, the largest of which were probably Trotskyites, had to get out of the USSR in order to survive. They didn't turn conservative just because Stalin was after them. Many kept working for "World Communism" although Stalin, for many years, pushed socialism in one country, the USSR.
From the 1920s onward, the displaced (mainly) Eastern European communists used race as a tool to bring down the USA as they saw it as a weakness which could be exploited to harm their mortal enemy.
