Let me repeat. I don't think Trump is what we need. And I think he is highly over-rated as a force for reform, past or future. He talks a big game but does little. Pissing off the press, although heartwarming, is not the same thing as actually standing up against the deep state. In my book Trump will always be a failure. January 6 simply capped off the guy's incompetence.
That said, National Review is an even bigger disgrace to the conservative cause.
That was a very serious breech of constitutionality from McCarthy. There is no provision to convict a president once out of office.
Again, I won't mince words. Trump not being a Democrat doesn't save him from criticism for who he is or what he has done (or, more often, not done). For all his bluster, he didn't materially oppose Leftism and wokeness to any significant degree. But he is not what ails us. For these NR clowns to obsess on Trump is a clear sign that they stand for nothing (at least nothing conservative).
Had these fake blow-hards been leading the way in condemnation of Democrats, I might cut them some slack. But they've been a force for the elite. No wonder Trump's followers are so loyal. Even though I consider Trump to be a blow-hard fake and demagogue, he does have the attraction of being a sort of Tribune of the people. Hardly anyone the hell else is sticking up for normal people, in word or deed. At least Trump gives us some words.

Although Surber doesn't mention French, he does mention his fellow travelers, Goldberg and Kristol. Why is it that we, at ST and R&T, are so far ahead of the rest? Judas Goats

Sununu is a lying scumbag indicative of a large portion of the Republican Party. He claims it is not government's job to get involved with the culture and Republicans should not push this. But he ignores how the Demonrats have been able to co-opt large portions of government and use public funding to push perverted, degenerate, decadence throughout the nation. Heard of Independent School Districts you dick? I know Sununu is not stupid, thus I am left with the conclusion that he is part of the evil-demonic cabal, which has been pushing this nation-destroying filth on our country. Is he doing it for money or because he is a pervert? Only the Shadow knows. Government should stay out of culture wars

He's trying to appeal to the Trump-hating Snowflake hysterical female voters (and probably others who were tired of that circus). He's basically virtue-signalling that he's not a "divisive" guy (and that he will overturn or oppose no liberal policies). This is a carefully worked out campaign strategy. No one is truly stupid enough to believe that if you simply disengage from the battle that your enemies will then give up.

I wrote Cruz a couple days back, advising him to keep his nose out of the internal affairs of Uganda and other countries. I await his reply.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Pobrecito David again calling attention to himself, and criticizing others for not being as virtuous as he is. French leaving Twitter Perhaps I shouldn't comment as I do not use a cell phone and have never sent or received a Twitter. I have seen some on various news-aggregator sites. Hell, I don't even text. (I may have tried to once on Mdm. Flu's phone, but I can't recall for sure.)

Holy crappolie, Batman. His leaving Twitter was secondary to the prosaic summary of this guy by DrTart. He knows his David French about as well as we do...maybe even more. That was a hoot to read. It seems a lot of people have French's number.

French is a sanctimonious dick. He loves to parade his holier-than-thou act for the people who hate Christians. He is the type of "Christian" they can get behind. I am beginning to wonder if he isn't actually a demon in disguise.
Matthew 7:15-16
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

This can't be serious. Even for David French. My word. He gives "limp noodle" a bad name. This is the very definition of namby-pamby. In fact, I won't turn on my expensive Namby-Pamby Meter to take a reading because I'm afraid it would break. It's like taking a small multimeter and hooking it up to 10,000 volts AC. It's going to blow it out.

If only it were namby-pamby. No, this is a considered attack on our nation, through an attack on Christianity. I will leave it to the readers to figure out how this is an attack on our nation.
The phrase, "Christ the King" is nothing new and in no way venomous or hateful. As to "religious dominance" for Christians, Christ is dominant in their lives. In no way does it assert "religious dominance" in any political way, or is it gross or ugly. In no way is it dangerous.
Here are a number of Bible verses, which the ass French, if he is actually a Christian, would know.
John 12:15
“Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your King is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.”
1 Timothy 6:15
which He will bring about at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
Revelation 17:14
These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.”
Revelation 19:16
And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
John 18:37
Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”
More and more, I am becoming convinced that David French is a disciple of Satan. Possibly a small, malicious imp dressed up as a Christian whose mission it is to undercut both the U.S.A. and Christianity.
No namby-pamby there.

I wonder if he blushes when someone mentions the Los Angeles Kings. Right now they are in the second of the two wild card spots for the playoffs in the Western Conference, just 3 points ahead of the St. Louis Blues. (Don't cry, David, even though being a Saint implies being more righteous than others.) However, the Kings do have a game in hand, so that helps their cause a little. St. Louis had a critical win last night over the favored Edmonton Oilers. (D0n't cry, David, it's only fossil fuel.)
It's difficult to know if French is just a ruined male, made too female by the culture, or if he's just plain ruined. Cue Arnold:
You have to use your imagination a little to make that clip work.
