Perhaps public school students also think that Lincoln is a log cabin. I gather that was actually used on a TV show once (I saw a promo of it). Or maybe he was a car. And no doubt they think Gomez Addams was one President, and "Thriller" was sung by another.
But I think that baby (who seems to be rather ticklish) is a bit young to have been through public school, though no doubt he's as knowledgeable and intelligent as most who have.

Oh, my. I had heard about this, but not how deranged the arsonist was. Usually you would expect something like that to be a hate crime hoax, but this was simple lunacy. Back before the insane were deinstitutionalized, he would have been kept safe and sound in some nice snake pit. Schizophrenia is a terrible thing.

I just played the video, and vaguely recognized the song from way back when. In particular, the line, "Fire! I bid you to burn!" Naturally, there is a strong satanic aspect in the video, though I wonder if the performer is the singer. After all, the video probably doesn't date from 1968.
It was also interesting to see their use of the "Little Girl With the Daisy" ad from 1964. It only appeared once as an ad, but of course it was considered very newsworthy and thus was seen many times that way.

An excellent piece which gets down to many of the points we have discussed here and at ST. The writer is a ZOOMER, (I didn't know that was what the generation was called) and he/she points out the pathetic situation many, perhaps most, of this generation find themselves in. It does not make for happy reading, but I believe the writer has laid out some of the major problems confronting this group and therefore our country. The piece was written in response to a Rod Dreher article.
I love this comment as regards the attractiveness of young American women.
The writer has clearly seen the same thing I have over the last few years. Recall I was all for open borders as long as the immigrants were females from East and Southeast Asia.  |

Before a solution is found it is necessary for progressives to come to grips with their contribution to the problem. As yet, they refuse to acknowledge there is a problem, let alone their responsibility for creating it. Until that realization comes and the progressives remain in power there is no solution. Government will continue to throw money at the problem, without success, and blame conservative policies for the problem failure.
Changing policing and defunding police is not an answer. Even now after almost a year of defining hysteria even progressive cities are refunding and enlarging their police departments, but they haven't taken the cuffs off police, nor have they changed police ROE with violent criminals. Until police can act in a professional manner handling calls for assistance there is no way to a solution.
A Sacramento Sheriff deputy one told me. "I treat everyone civilly and no one politely". At the time I did not really understand the difference, after 50 years I think I do.

In not exactly the same language, that’s what conservatives have been telling the squishy “moderate” Republicans (or any damn Republican) for decades: By all means, be civil. But being “civil” does not include avoiding pissing people off by not countering and confronting their ideas.
I can see this cop you have in mind: “Mrs. Anderson, you are under arrest for child endangerment. You can't do drugs and be a good mother.” Reality. Truth. Spoken calmly but plainly. That’s not too much to ask of Republicans. Think Jack Webb.

I posted an article on this study back on November 25th. (see above) But I thought it good to remind everyone just what we are dealing with when opposing much of the left. So many meshuga shiksas (in addition to the Jewish girls)What can one say to this sentiment found in the article? Uh...no! Giving in to our feelings of compassion for these screwballs has helped degrade our society so much over the last half century. Some of the evil leaders and many of the useful idiots of leftism come from this group. Trying to reason with nuts like these is best done in the privacy of a clinical visit, perhaps with the use of certain physical restraints; not during a political rally. As a society, we have raised a generation or two of amazingly soft women unprepared for the vicissitudes of life. It is like having injected too much estrogen into the environment and being surprised that the egg shells of birds are thinner, thus less protecting of their contents. We are getting a lot of damaged chicks. |
