I see what you mean about the article. Dougherty nicely describes why Battygeek is a wretched choice, but just wonders how he got this far without even mentioning identity politics. NR has gotten socially libertarian over the years (hence the firing of Mark Steyn for a joke that was politically incorrect about homosexuals), so perhaps they no longer let themselves consider that issue.
I also think an important point is that the synoptic media want an allegedly "moderate" Demagogue, and by the time of Iowa they could see that the Yellow Jester probably wouldn't cut it. I suspect that we will see them trying (no doubt working in conjunction with the DNC) to select Battygeek. It was noted that Blonde Squaw With Empty Head was allowed to run on in the spin room after the meeting of the group mind that was termed a debate without the newsliars asking any questions to interrupt it. Leaving aside identity politics points, they want her to stay in lest her voters go over to Bolshie Bernie.

It’s actually kind of funny. A good example of “the elephant in the room.”

Town Hall has an article on a discussion group of some sort involving black voters discussing Battygeek. They confirmed the importance of "money in the hand" (at least among black Demagogues). But Brad in particular appreciate the responses, many of which deal with "the elephant in the room" (at least one uses the term), homosexuality. People forget that even urban blacks voted heavily against recognizing homosexual marriage, as I noticed in studying precinct voting results in Louisville in 2004. The link is:

Yikes. That’s not going to play well in many places...assuming it ever becomes widely known in that community.

Well, at least Blackface Northam wouldn't be a total fake.

Wearing bedsheets and blackface are out. Pretending you are a Native American or taking a husband as a “wife” are in.
The mob is out in full force in the comments section to the article. I don’t see it as any big deal. I don’t assume, for example, that Alec Guinness should be retroactively purged from memory because he once played Hitler. And a bunch of stupid high school students dressing up should also be put into context.
But the mob in the comments sections want teachers to be retroactively fired or face lawsuits. I don’t mind the principle of the Democrat mob eating their own. But it is in the nature of mobs not to be so picky. They’ll eat anyone.

Here’s an article at RedState that attempts to explain Butt-gig’s relative popularity: That’s hardly a rare trait. Again, there is the elephant in the living room. The main point is that there is a homosexual giving evasive but nice-sounding answers. Apparently Butt-gig was Heckled and Jeered at the Biggest New Hampshire Democrat Gathering. No doubt that was “hate jeering” as in “hate speech.” I imagine in regards to a homosexual you could have “hate yawning” as well. But Bernie supporters were not happy with the little man. Butt-gig has the potential to be blown away and forgotten like yesterday’s newspaper. But Obama was as content-less as Butt-gig and look where he went. Still, seeing the Leninists battle the Trotskyites is entertaining and is putting their destructive ends to at least some short-term good. Honest to god, I still don’t know how to pronounce the “man’s” name. But there are all kinds of hilarious substitutes all over the web.

If Battygeek's answers are indeed filled with metaphors as well as large piles of bullschiff, then he'd better not count on She Guevara's support.
Biden has been hitting Battygeek's inexperience by contrasting the decisions he was involved it (usually by giving the Black God bad advice, but never mind) with the trivial things Battygeek has done in South Bend. It's a very good point in its way.
After seeing the movie yesterday, I find myself wondering: Would Dorian Gray be a good comparison for Pete Battygeek?

The image of a President of the United States on his knees with another man's penis in his mouth is just about the most repulsive thing I can imagine, and deep down I believe the majority of the American people feel the same. It has nothing to do with sex but national pride.

Sadly, I can imagine worse and so can, I believe, most others in these days of Sodom and Gomorrah 2.0. Thus the AIDS epidemic.
Don't sully the White House,
No Butt-gig or his "spouse."
Filthy buggers. Literally!

This creates an interesting question. How many people who say they're willing to vote for Battygeek or any other homosexual would actually be willing to do so? At least among Demagogue voters, probably most of them. But this is a problem polling would never catch, because who would ever admit to "homophobia" to some anonymous pollster? (This is why the "Bradley effect" is named after a black politician. For that matter, there's a reverse effect, which might be called the "Helms effect" or even the "Trump effect", in which a politician hated by the news media underpolls from people who won't admit to supporting him.)
If the Russians decide to protect the institution of marriage in their constitution, they should be explicit. We have seen homosexuals claim that homosexual marriage is a fine example of family values, and proving them wrong to a judge inclined to accept their claim could be impossible. For that matter, saying that it involves a man and a woman isn't sufficient today. It's a pity to have to clutter the Constitution with provisions to avoid idiocies (and too late to do so here, because we can never get 2/3 of both houses of Congress or 3/4 of the states to agree on any such sensible provisions), but so it is today.
Incidentally, I understand the Greeks differentiated between categories of homosexuality based on which supplied the penis and which supplied the mouth or anus. Much of it was pederasty, in which the boy was to serve as the receptacle.

I believe you are correct and even today in some Muslim cultures it is the "receptacle" who is jeered at and thought of as being the queer.
There is that famous Pashtun (?) saying "There's a boy across the river with a bottom like a peach, alas I cannot swim."
Maybe the Afghans come by it naturally. After all, many of Alexander's soldiers stayed behind in the area, when he returned to Persia.
