I was hoping someone else could tell me what kind of flower this is.
If you go to the original link, click on the image, and then click on the magnifying icon to go to full size, yo’ll see that these are actually little flowers still waiting to open up — little “hot pink” or magenta flowers is what I would call the color.

I do think I got lucky on that one. There's so little control shooting with a phone, particularly close-up photos. Theoretically you can tap on the screen and the camera will focus to the area. But that doesn't usually work very well. I suspect maybe it does work better on new phones.
What they seem to excel at are low-light shots. Even on this old phone, I'm amazed what it can do sometimes.

That might be Beauty Berry. I took a cutting from my friend Laura last year, and now I have several good small plants. Mine are blooming now. The berries will form later and stay on the bush all winter to add color to the garden and provide food for the birdies.

Listen, I get a little tired here of people inserting politics into everything. This is a thread about photography — in particular, nature photography. Nobody cares if one of Donald Trump’s bimbos was Beauty Berry. Frankly, I’m surprised at you. He’s still better than Hillary. Oh…wait… Never mind.

Funny, I wondered if she was kin to Berry Goldwater or Halley Berry.

I've never heard of red daisies. Well, you learn something new every day.

Looks like a blend of black & white and color film.

That didn't occur to me (I just don't know enough about photography), but it makes sense in explaining the color difference between the top and bottom halves. It's an interesting effect, anyway, whatever caused it.

I also don't know that it is a combination of the two, but the effect is very unusual and interesting.

Those Chilean mountains are very reminiscent of The Olympics. I think the photographer has caught a nice, deceptively simple composition. (I know it takes a lot of work, especially for skies to show up well.)
A lot of sunset pictures are almost psychedelically over-the-top. I thought this photographer had a better sense of proportion. That looks like a beautiful sunset over a mountain, not something so photo-composited (as is done these days) that it nowhere resembles reality.
And I can almost see the rattlesnakes lurking in Bryce Canyon.

Here's another one, in Grand Teton, with similar lighting (or coloring) effects.
