Here's some more interesting lighting, albeit underwater.

We have some more interesting phototropolis visual effects today, this time involving mirror images.

Here we have a very nice phototropolis national park landscape (with some skyscape as well).

This is another interesting mountain scene. I especially find the lake at the bottom interesting.

Here's a great spot for some white water rafting -- if you have an Evel Knievel mindset, anyway.

I was out doing a little gardening and I noticed this mushroom pushing-up surely ten times his weight of the undergrowth. Original

A very interesting and still artistic photo. I'm waiting for the leprechaun to peek out from behind the mushroom. Sometimes one has to stoop to conquer, or at least get a good shot.

I’ve always thought mushrooms were very photogenic, Mr. Kung. That’s not a perfect shot. But it was fun to find the mushroom and to capture it.
I’ll take a wild guess and say that’s likely one that is very poisonous. I therefore put on a hazmat suit before getting close enough to shoot it. I then scrubbed down my camera with sanitizer sheets afterward and formatted the SD card after copying the photo over to my computer just to be safe.
There could even be some risk from just looking at the photo. You might want to back off from the monitor a little when viewing it. Focal distancing, as it were.

Here’s a shot of some unknown flowers using a macro extension tube on my Nikon D3300. Macro shots are always challenging because the depth of field is always rather shallow. But I think I did okay. If anyone knows the names of these flowers, you’ll get a special parting gift. The flowers are about 1/4” in diameter. [ Enlarged View]

Little blue thingy flowers with yellow centers, sometimes called, "Forget-me-nots".

Thanks, Mr. Flu. That's gotta be what they are. And this one is growing wild.

See previous post for Heather. Here’s a shot I’m rather proud of because the wind is blowing pretty good and the patchy cloud cover is on-again, off-again in terms of getting the sun. It’s hard enough to get a good focus in the best of circumstances. But I think this came out pretty well. [ Larger View] Mr. Flu did such a great job naming that last flower, let’s see if he (or someone else) can get it without looking. But here is the answer: Rosemary
