It certainly looks like it. Kudos to Asa for signing this. Noem gave away the game by saying she didn't want to get into a fight she couldn't win. This is of course a lie. What she meant is she didn't want to fight and the best way to avoid a fight is to cower before your opponent.
The line below is the typical blather which leftist use when someone tries to fight them in the legislature or court. They pull this malarkey out more especially when their opponents win.
These scumbags hate it that they haven't been able to get a jump on normal people. They want insane transgender laws to be established and unassailable before conservatives have even woken up. Thankfully, conservatives are not asleep on this subject.
By the left's logic above, the only time one should stay out of the sun is after one has skin cancer. Preventative action/precaution before that is silly and unreasonable. Perhaps a more timely example; wearing a mask is not necessary until one has the KFF. Lying scoundrels.

There are reasons other than doctrinaire feminism that someone (including a female governor) might support men pretending to be women.
But it’s worth noting the conundrum, especially regarding a female governor, that the basis of feminism is the idea that men had unfair advantages over women and thus must be knocked down a notch. Therefore it’s difficult to explain why women would allow men to invade their bathrooms, showers, and sports and allow themselves to be dominated.
To some extent, these inconsistencies are inevitable given the dogma of the Left which heavily denies reality in key and fundamental areas. Garbage in, garbage out. That sort of thing.

Noem is fading fast. On the other hand, DeSantis is looking stronger every day. Should he continue on this path, he will be the clear front runner for the Republican nominee, if Trump doesn't run. If Trump does run, I would like DeSantis as the VP candidate, but this could run into constitutional trouble as the President and VP cannot be from the same state. DeSantis for Liberty |

Just a slightly conservative democrat. It saddens me that so many of our supposed leaders can not, or will not, stand up and fight. All they are doing is deciding who is going to be the last one the alligator eats. In the Passover season I am reminded that many Jews cooperated with our oppressors and died anyway. |

That’s an astute comment. Yesterday, I was trying to formulate a concise expression to describe our times. It came out something like: “We have devolved to be governed by malcontents, weirdos, and the compliant people who are ‘nice’ but not particularly good.”
There’s a lot to unpack in that. But I do think it captures quite a bit of it. There is a whole lot of cooperation going on with our oppressors. People are just too damn “nice” to object to utter nonsense…and worse.

This problem is pointed out in the last book which I reviewed, "Bloodlands." I have to say that it is not unique amongst the Jews. There have always been, and will always be, people who will cooperate with and sell out their people to oppressors regardless the race or creed. We should be aware of them, but not focus on them.
I have always thought there must have been a huge number of silent heroes among the Jews, and others, who were slaughtered by the Nazis. The ones I have often wondered about and most admired are those who were offered the chance to cooperate with the monumental evil in exchange for a few more days on earth. Yet they said no and marched into the gas chamber or to the open pit with the knowledge that a bullet waited for them. Quiet, unknown, un-celebrated, courageous heroes, known but to God.

Exactly! This is one reason I have been so adamant about the need to destroy Noem. If the scumbag cannot stand up for even the most basic, transparent and undeniable truths, then she will be worse than useless in other, more difficult, fights.
Conservatives need to step up their efforts to separate the "wheat from the chaff." Too many decades have been lost with phonies such as Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, John Beohner, Dennis Hastert, George W. Bush and Kevin McCarthy.

I am not too sure that they are actually "nice." At best they are non-thinking, pliable, undecided squishes. Simply going along because one is vapid does not rise to the level of "nice." Vacuous is more likely.
