The Babylon Bee had a nice parody of where cancel culture (i.e., the Wokeists) is leading us that Ray Bradbury would no doubt fully appreciate. The link is:

Maybe it is not such a bad thing that I have between 1,000 and 2,000 actual books. I was looking to get rid of them over time, but maybe they will turn out to be something like the Medieval-monastery libraries i.e repositories of knowledge and wisdom through an age of idiocy.

This is good news. I used to see his comics everyday in the Japan Times. He was also a regular at The Herald Tribune, that famous paper for American expatriates. Gary Larson and The Far SideThe Far Side and Calvin and Hobbs are my favorite comics.

I regularly read it. Larson especially liked robots and cows, as I recall. I had a lot of the books, too. There is a Far Side cartoon daily at gocomics.con, so I wonder if they'll start supplying new and "classic" cartoon, as they do with some others.

A satirical video available at patriotpost.com provides a simple procedure for creating your own legal autonomous zone (though they admit it's more difficult in one respect in blue states). The link is:

I like the idea of setting up your own autonomous zone. Mine would be called the Lotstha Zone. It may be little hard to pronounce but it means "Liberals Ought To Stay The Hell Away" Zone.

I read of someone putting up a notice to potential burglars noting that his neighbor was an anti-gun zealot, so in deference to his views he himself would not use any of his legal weapons to protect him if the zealot needed it. I wonder how burglars would respond to that. Of course, I have no way of knowing if this really happened or was somebody's dream.
Of course, there's no guarantee that such burglars would trust any such sign -- and these days, they might not even be able to read it.

I can totally believe something like that breaking out between neighbors.

Some years ago, I did see something like this. I can't recall why the two neighbors were not on good terms but the one neighbor had a sign with a similar phrase printed on it along with an arrow pointing to his neighbor's property.

Sounds like a joke Patton used to tell about Montgomery. He had the latter explaining his plans to Eisenhower thus: "I shall dispose of several divisions on the flank here and lie in wait for the Hun. Then at the proper moment I shall upon him like a savage rabbit!"

We did. I had to laugh at the cursing Mexican filming the savage rabbits.
Very strangely, earlier this evening, I was thinking about a couple of rabbits in a boxing match. Then I thought about a couple of kangaroos boxing, but went back to the rabbits as that thought was funnier. What brought about this idea, in the first place, was looking at some of the Antifa pussies running around pretending they are tough. Boxing rabbits just seemed a natural fit.
Life matching fiction or viz-a-versa.

This has been a banner day for satire, though of course it's so much easier during the "crazy years" (as Heinlein called a similar period in his future history). There were several good items in the Babylon Bee, including these masterpiece:
The weekly collection of satirical memes and cartoons on patriotpost.us also showed up. Unfortunately, I can't link to them, but I can describe them sufficiently, I think.
One describes Bill de Blasio's priorities: With violent crime (especially murder) skyrocketing, he has 27 cops protecting his Black Lives Matter street murals.
One that may not be good satire but is still fun involves a little kid with a clenched fist obviously pleased that his DNA results show 0% Democrat. I wish I could say the same.
Another has a simple message: Being a communist in a free country is dead simple. Being free (it should more accurately say supporting freedom) in a communist country, you'll be simply dead.
Another suggests renamed the Wuhan coronavirus the "common core virus" because none of the math adds up.
Another portrays a well-armed Smokey the Bear pointing out, "Only you can prevent Communism."
Incidentally, the link title I used for the first reference was inspired by a (translated) German headline after a political incident 50 years ago: "Ex-Nazis Call Ex-Nazis Ex-Nazis". This was a problem back then.
