I would think that the realities of New York would factor in when a company is deciding where to locate offices. Why would anyone want that anarchic environment? I would expect a continued trickle of business moving to Florida and Texas. Might it become flood?

Texas has increased in population by over 5 million since 2010. Last year we were cursed with almost 500,000 new residents. I believe the numbers in 2021 and 2022 were similar. I see more California plates than New York plates. I guess I should thank God for small favors.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark (KNWA/KFTA) — Northwest Arkansas has passed seven U.S. metropolitan areas in population since 2020, new Census estimates show.
In 2023, Northwest Arkansas, or the Fayetteville-Rogers-Springdale metro, was the 18th fastest-growing metro in the country. The population in Northwest Arkansas has grown by nearly 8% since 2020 from 546,725 to 590,337.
These are the seven metros Northwest Arkansas passed:
Census: These Arkansas counties grew the most in 2023 Metropolitan Area Estimated 2020 Population Estimated 2023 Population Percentage Increase/Decrease
Chattanooga, Tenn. 562,648 580,971 3.26% Lancaster, Pa. 552,989 558,589 01.01% Modesto, Ca. 552,882 551,430 -0.26% New Haven, Conn. 570,455 568,158 -0.40% Portland, Maine 551,737 566,329 2.64% Reno, Nev. 549,828 564,782 2.71% Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Pa. 567,603 569,413 0.32% Northwest Arkansas 546,725 590,337 7.98% (Courtesy: U.S. Census Bureau)
If Northwest Arkansas’ population increase continues on the same trajectory over the next five to 10 years, the metro’s population could surpass Augusta, Ga., Durham-Chapel Hill, N.C., Harrisburg, Pa., Spokane, Wash. and Toledo, Ohio, according to the Census data.

I am surprised Fareed can keep from vomiting while making this video. He is finally, and very reluctantly, admitting what he has always known. Biden is an old crook with dementia and Trump is not going to go gently into the sunset. Fareed is simply the "reasonable face" of the demonic left which has been doing its utmost to bring down the USA. We must continue to do our best to make sure we win and he loses.

Wow. Honesty and self-awareness from Bill Clinton? This will take me a while to process.
That particularly description brought a smile to my face. There were some distant rumblings from the Frenchian Faction of Feckless Fussbudgets a few days ago. Apparently Jonah Goldberg let it be known that withholding aid to Israel is not something that the gentlemanly Party of RINO Progressive Enablers can stomach. It's almost as if the shadows of Hitler-on-Campus in the form of Hamas can make a guy put into perspective a candidate paying hush money to a prostitute.
Whether, in desperation, they try to graft Hillary into the Democratic ticket, I don't know. I don't think that will happen. But you never know.

They are getting so desperate that they will try anything. The O'Biden administration is falling apart. With every passing day, more Americans are realizing that is it a clown show on par with Pennywise.
Heaven forbid, but as I have said before, I am surprised that Trump is still on this side of the grass. The people he is fighting have no trouble destroying anyone standing in their way. Normally, they can do this with other means, but Trump has shown himself superior to even their most despicable methods. This is enraging them to the point of madness.

This is what I am afraid they will try to do to Trump. Note that the Slovakian PM took office in Oct. 2024, and criticized the EU's insane policy as regards Russia. It has only taken about 6 months before someone has tried to assassinate him. P.M. shot multiple times

The West is primed for this kind of violence to be commonplace. You can feel it coming.

Very good advice for Trump. Three people Trump should not choose for VP In fact, it is four, but the one has shot herself in the foot recently. I agree completely with the writer's advice.
I still like Ben Carson, but his age is something of a disadvantage for those who want to insure the fight is carried on after Trump. For those people, J.D. Vance is beginning to look good. I like him, but he is too young, in my opinion, and Repukelicans need the Ohio Senate seat. I do not like Burgum at all. If Greg Abbott were more conservative and not an Establishment guy, he would be a good choice. Ramaswamy is intelligent enough, but too young. I also wonder what his real political beliefs are.

Biden is degrading so quickly that the Demonrats are truly in a panic. They want and need to get rid of him, but they are in a quandary as to how. They would probably prefer he keeled over and died, but that is a bit too chancy. The brain-dead corpse could keep walking around for a long time and Kamala would be a disaster as their presidential candidate in any case.
How to move Kamala out and install Big Mike or Hillary? Will they invoke the 25th Amendment? Slip him a mickey? Push him down some stairs? Who knows, but they see that Trump is pulling ahead and if things continue along this path, Trump will be so far ahead as to make a steal ala 2020 impossible. Is a puzzlement.

How in the world did you dig up that Yul Brynner shtick. If fits. I've never watched that movie. For what it's worth, I'd go with "push him down the stairs." It would be eminently filled with plausible deniability.

As you probably remember, I was very involved with music from a young age. My older brother and I were both in high school musicals. As such, I followed a lot of musicals. I was singing from the age of three.
I like the movie The King and I very much. The Thais find it a gross insult to their king and it was forbidden to show it in Thailand. I was lucky enough to see Brynner, during the last run before his death, perform the King on Broadway. One could tell he was very ill, but it was worth it just to see him.
As you know, the musical was based on a book titled Anna and the King of Siam. The Deborah Kerr character was Anna Leonowens, whose husband had died and was buried in Penang. I found this out when visiting the old cemetery in Penang many years ago. Below is a photo of his grave.
